For doing the ad?

No, that's a lie. Rush said he was off his meds while doing the ad.

No, that's a lie. Rush said he was off his meds while doing the ad.

Actually Rush just asked the question, was he off his meds for the ad. He asked that because in Fox's book he said he went of his meds for his Congressional testimony.

Now it says:

"Did Michael J. Fox Intentionally Go "Off His Meds" To Provoke Sympathy?"

Hmmm... have they already changed it?

They've changed the question, now it's: Did Michael J. Fox Intentionally Go "Off His Meds" To Provoke Sympathy?

Guess they got caught in yet another misleading "quote"

I heard Rush's comments. The import of his comments was that, if Fox wasn't acting in the ad, then he probably had gone off his meds so that his Parkinson's symptoms were readily observable.

The original CBS question implied that Rush said Fox did the ad because he was off his meds. Put another way, CBS seemed to be implying that Rush claimed Fox made the ad because of some frailty or lapse in judgment owing to Fox being "off his meds." That was NOT what Rush said.

At Rush's web site:

Michael J. Fox Is Not Infallible; He's Just the Latest Victim Used by the Democrats

Democrats have long used infallible spokesmen to peddle their dishonest attacks, but we're not going to accept it anymore...

"All stem cell research is legal today in Missouri. Jim Talent does not seek to criminalize it, as Michael J. Fox asserts in his television commercial. The truth is that Amendment 2 would put human cloning in the Missouri Constitution. Michael J. Fox is participating in this disinformation campaign." More Quotes

Uh, unless I'm mistaken, Michael Fox released a statement saying he DELIBERATELY went off his meds so people could see what Parkinson's looks like.

Michael J. Fox is shooting his own movement in the foot. By showing he can still function while going "off his meds" it means his condition cannot be that serious.

No different really than how the left politicized and manipulated Christopher Reeve for exactly the same purpose. The left is without any ethics, morals, scruples or character. They are simple criminals who will do anything and say anything, to anyone, for political and criminal gain.

They are filth.
