They are still unwilling to focus on the truth that most people are reluctant to vote THEIR congressman out of office without a good reason. When the GOP campaigned on the "Contract with America" in 1994, they offered voters a reason to vote for them. "We hate Bush" is not a reason for people in many GOP districts, nor is Mark Foley. The reason it took the GOP so long to take the House in 1994 was because incumbency is so safe and the Contract with America was years in the making before it worked. What the media won't realize is that not all 'Rat districts are safe either as evidenced by the Murtha race.
Explain Santorum.

You have poll numbers on the Murtha race? I haven't seen any. I'm thinking Murtha's going to win, despite himself.
Correct. Everyone "hates" congress but "likes" their own congressman.
Bill Kristol this morning said voters around the country aren't going to base their vote on what some creep congressman in Florida did. And Laura Ingraham said voters want their congressmen to fight back, to get off defense.
I have good days and bad...and I've figured out the more TV I watch, the worse I feel, that constant MSNBC/democrat drumbeat foretelling our defeat IS depressing. But hopefully, it's what will get us to the polls.
The Democrats have convinced their people to vote already. Now they are convincing, through Mark Foley and general Republican incompetence, for core conservative voters not to vote.
[M]ost people are reluctant to vote THEIR congressman out of office without a good reason.
Reminds me of a principal known as "Fenno's Law," which states: "Congress stinks, but my Congressman is OK."

maybe not for logical voters, but many are increasingly brainwashed.
Also, I can't recall another time where the lametoid major media outlets have been so relentless in their quest to paint Bush and the GOP as evil.
In 2004, many Repubs had the Swifties to rally around.
In 2000, it was time to boot the dem administration.
In 1994, the Contract with America.
We need a focal point, one that not only puts to light the near traiterous actions of the Dem-wimps, but one that shows off the strength of the GOP.
