as some would say other wise, not all albanians are terrorist or support terrorism. Not all albanians are muslim either. 25-30% of them are christian. (orthodox). Terrorist can be found everywhere, but not all muslims are islamic fascist. Just like our allies in kurdistan, good muslims can be found.

In 1991, Albania started an effort toward democratization. Fifteen years later, Sokoli said it hasn’t been easy, but it’s been worth it. He’s also glad to have allies once again.

Fifteen years from 1991 to today. And the whiney weenie libs think Iraq should have accomplished a complete democratic and violence-free state in 15 months. Bozos.

Albania's army peacekeeping unit are pictured during a formal ceremony in Tirana Monday, Oct.13, 2003, before departing for Iraq .Albania, a predominantly Muslim country which emerged from decades of communist isolation in 1990, was one of the most vocal backers of the U.S.-led campaign in Iraq although it was unable to provide significant military or material support. Albania opened its airspace, land routes and territorial waters to U.S.-led forces and offered use of its bases.

Kudos to Albania. If I recall correctly, many of the countries previously under communist oppression joined, in whatever way they could, in the war on terror AND the front in Iraq. Perhaps those who have only recently achieved freedom value it ever more than we do. And certainly more than the EUroweenies do.

Alas, he is no longer with us. Looks like he's been "crusaded" off this site.

Too bad. I was going to buy him a new pet to keep him company on those long lonely nites.
