This may be useful at various 9/11 events. Poster has a 9/11/2001 image of New York City and New York Harbor. I've added some information about Able Danger and appropriate quotes for this solemn, sad day. Never Forget. Never Again.

The report of the September 11 Commission, once a best seller and hailed by the news media as the definitive word on the subject, must now be moved to the fiction shelves.
The commission concluded...the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon couldn't have been prevented.
Able Danger has changed all of that.
The problem was...Jamie Gorelick.
What may be a bigger scandal is that the staff of the September 11 Commission knew of Able Danger and what it had found, but made no mention of it in its report. This is as if the commission that investigated the attack on Pearl Harbor had written its final report without mentioning the Japanese.
When the story broke Lee Hamilton denied the commission had ever been informed of Able Danger...
"Had we learned of it, obviously it would have been a major focus of our investigation."
Mr. Hamilton later changed his tune...
Sandy Berger stole classified documents and destroyed some...Was he removing references to Able Danger? Someone should ask him before he is sentenced next month.
The dispute over Atta's whereabouts in Prague on April 9, 2001, to meet with Samir al Ani, an Iraqi intelligence officer.
Czech intelligence insists he was. Able Danger had information supporting the Czechs.
But acknowledging that possibility would leave open the likelihood that Saddam's regime was involved in the September 11 attacks. And that would have been as uncomfortable for Democrats as the revelation that September 11 could have been prevented if it hadn't been for the Clinton administration's wall of separation.
The September 11 Commission wrote history as it wanted it to be, not as it was. The real history of what happened that terrible September day has yet to be written.

In the process they ruined the lives and careers of many good people, among them Leon Panetta who sold his soul to protect Hillary and run point for the most corrupt administration the nation has seen.
All was made possible and remains hidden from exposure by the successful theft of a thousand or more raw FBI files by an Atlanta bar bouncer who now runs a window tinting shop in Encino California. The story from Hillary that he just appeared out of nowhere and named himself Chief of White House Security has never been questioned by the media nor any of the special committees or 535 members in the House or Senate. Proving that our congress, man for man is as corrupt and indecent as anyone the Clintons ever associated with.
Even to this day, the passive treason displayed in statements from media celebrities and congressional members is given a pass as are blatant and overt acts such as Sandy Berger's destruction of top secret documents stolen from the National Archives or Jamie Gorelick and Richard Ben Veniste derailing the 9/11 Commission.
We should not ignore the fact that we are sliding down a dangerous slope and that this horrendous miscarriage of authority and blatant abuse of our legal system falls directly on us, the American electorate.
From the editorial :
"It was in October of 2003 that Clinton National Security Adviser Sandy Berger stole classified documents from the National Archives and destroyed some.
Mr. Berger allegedly was studying documents in the archives to help prepare Clinton officials to testify before the September 11 Commission. Was he removing references to Able Danger? Someone should ask him....
After having first denied that staff had been briefed on Able Danger, commission spokesman Al Felzenberg said no reference was made to it in the final report because "it was not consistent with what the commission knew about Atta's whereabouts before the attacks," the AP reported.

Sandy Berger mad sure that Able Danger was never to see the light of day... National Archives document removal. Why he is not on death row is amazing to me.
When the director of the National Archives found out that Berger was being investigated by the FBI for stealing classified documents, the director's first call went to.... Bruce Lindsey.
That National Archives director was subsequently fired, but many suspect that before he left he likely destroyed the originals at Lindsey's request.
Gorelick ( and the 9/11 Commission Report Dietrich L. Snell was a Senior Counsel & Team Leader ) were put in charge of disseminate what information got seen by the full Commission.
So the woman who created the Wall which blocked the flow of information, was again put in charge of blocking information to the Commission which was charged with finding out why information got blocked.
I read that she started a firm and makes tons of money.

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is worse."
John Stuart Mill
Interesting. Do you have a source for this quote?
LOL --- nice work!
A beautiful tribute.

It seemed had to believe these events went almost unnoticed (except by us) back when I wrote that comment. Now, as I am watching news of Dennis Kucinich, as a Presidential contender, denouncing the United States and calling our President a criminal on Syrian TV I don't believe there is any act that can be judged as treason in America.
Able Danger Bump.
The Clintons And Able DangerI am sure many have forgotten about Able Danger (see here for my many posts on the mater), a prototype data mining intelligence program that was begun in 1998 by the NSA and folks in the Pentagon to see if data mining technology, applied to publically available data sets, could help identify terrorists. The claim, never really proved, was the Able Danger program had identified the 9-11 highackers prior to 9-11 and no one paid attention because it was a prototype evaluation program, not a fully operational capability the Intelligence Community had confidence in.
One of the more infuriating aspects of the entire story was the fact that our intelligence tools were shut down because the test program for this technology unearthed possibly incriminating information about the Clintons and their administration. One of the many posts I have on this aspect of the story is here. I am dredging up this old news because it probably plays into some of the current news involving the Clintons and their ties to Chinese spies (i.e., illustrates the nexus of Clinton greed and Clinton naiveté’). This is because the Able Danger program was rapidly (and possibly illegally) shut down because its sister technology demonstration program, investigating US connections to Chinese technology, came up with high level names.
It was this unfortunate and accidental discovery connecting China’s efforts to acquire our technology with high ranking Clinton administration officials that triggered a complete shutdown of the data mining efforts against al-Qeada. The fear of this technology was so prevelant someone decided chasing terrorists was less important than covering someone’s butt. We never learned who was connected to the Chinese spies (outside Condi Rice, who would not be someone the Clinton administration would work so hard to cover for).
The reason I bring this up is to echo what Mac Ranger is saying about the Clintons and the myriad of China scandals that dogged their administration, and where never really investigated.
While the MSM continues to largely ignore the reemerging ‘China Gate scandal’ that I believe will either fatally wound or will outright derail her candidacy, it’s really time to call Hillary Clinton in her constant denials of culpability.
The world is very different from the loose and wild days of the Clinton administration. We take things much more seriously since 9-11, since we now appreciate how what seems to be trivial can have terrible consequences. The problems the Clintons had with Chinese agents spreading large amounts of money around dogged them constantly (and Al Gore and is fundraiser at a Temple known for frugality and rejection of personal gain). Will the pliant MSM cover for the Clintons again? Honestly I doubt it. They did their job once and it cost them their reputation and respect of the country. I doubt they see any reason to do it again.

I also have been musing about the MSM's complete evasion and ducking of the Able Danger facts...and their import. And also about the current White House role in sustaining and abetting the Hamburglar operations of the Xlintons to rehabilitate themselves.
Sure looks like one hand washing the other.
