Why Bad Things Happen To Good Passengers
Jewish World Review ^ | August 16, 2006 | Michael Graham

An acquaintance of mine and fellow blogger from Britain posted the following item right after the London terror plot was uncovered: "I've been away for a week in Jamaica and so encountered the new air travel rules on the trip back. At Atlanta, the TSA confiscated my two year old's diaper rash ointment (the quaintly named 'Boudreaux's Buttpaste'). Another victory for liberty! I know exactly how he feels.

Bush caved to the democrats when TSA was being assembled. It should be eliminated so we can start over - maybe on the right track this time.

Watching televised images of American travelers, lumbering like docile cows through TSA rope lines, obediently tossing their Skin-So-Soft and soda cans into government-approved containers, I felt…ashamed.

Are these the same docile cows that ignored all the warnings over the speakers and the signs that said they could not carry liquids onto the plane, so they acted surprised when they get to a security checkpoint?

Wow, this guy has no idea what he's talking about, except for one thing: Islam is indeed the problem. Of course, whining about it without proposing any actual solutions does not good, either.

One of these days a smart terrorist is going to pitch bombs into those government-approved containers.

Figured I'd better let you know about this, Corin, seein' as how you may be flying to Jen and Talon's wedding...

First it was "No Smoking", now it's "No Buttpaste."

The twenty first century is going to be so much fun!

Don't fly anymore, myself. Just drive around looking for a good cave to go live in.

I agree with the author.

All of this crap is silly and ineffective.

All it does is accustom us to complying with any demand issued by government employees, no matter how intrusive, humiliating, and ridiculous.

See its stupid articles like this that help terror.

What does he want? That TSA doesnt check white passengers with european sounding names?

Al qaeda can find white bombers with european sounding names.

You think there arent any white muslims?

All muslims are brown people?

Theres millions. You give any number of chechens, syrians, lebanese, yugoslavs, or turks a shave, a bath, and a new passport, and theyre as white and euro as Kiera Knightley.
More european looking than many jews, indians, and other non muslims.

And what about "Chinese" looking muslims (South east asia, central asia, whatnot)?

Black muslims?

Everyone SHOULD be checked! ANYONE could be a potential bomber! If the terrorists know that theres a particular type of person that wont get attention, theyll just find someone that fits that description!

YOU may know that you arent a terrorist. But until EVERYONE knows you arent, you dont get a free pass, buddy!

Best diaper rash ointment on the market. The only thing that worked for my kid. Not the funnest thing to present to the cashier though.

Don't kids get diaper rash because the diapers are BLEACHED, so when urine hits the bleach. it burns the skin?? Does a kid get diaper rash when disposables are used?

Diaper rash comes from the skin being damp. Doesn't matter what type of diaper is used.

Some kids are allergic to the disposables and get bad rashes from them. The rash isn't like regular diaper rash and is a lot harder to get rid of.
The best way to prevent diaper rash short of going third world is cloth diapers changed often.
