Abu Abbas, head of the Palestine Liberation Front, was captured in Iraq shortly after the fall of Baghdad and died of natural causes in U.S. custody the following year. Notorious for the 1985 hijacking of the Achille Lauro, Abbas's most deadly terrorist attack actually occurred in 1974, when a PLF assault in northern Israel killed 36 people. Abbas was also behind a foiled attack on a Tel Aviv beach in May 1990, when the U.S. was first trying to establish a dialogue with the PLO. Abbas's assault interfered with those efforts, and Iraq's invasion of Kuwait two months later halted them. Yet they were vigorously renewed after the war with Iraq, leading to the 1993 Oslo accords and eight years in which the diplomacy known as the "peace process" became the central U.S. preoccupation in the Middle East

In April 2003, U.S. Marines captured a terrorist training camp, run jointly by the PLF and the Iraqi regime. Chemicals and bomb-making facilities were found at the 20-building complex east of Baghdad. Also discovered were questionnaires in which recruits were asked to choose their assignments. "Suicide mission" was the choice of many, a Marine spokesman explained. That doesn't sound like Salmon Pak.

Different camp. One was in Baghdad, one in Salman Pak. Though there were others in the country as well.

Salmon Pak is 20 klicks South of Baghdad. Globalsecurity.org has excellent details of the camp. It was also the description of Salmon Pak in the Deulfer Report that compelled Manhattan Federal Judge Harold Baer to find Saddam Hussien complicit in tbe 911 WTC attack.

Frigen Saddam and his henchmen where up to their hairlines in supporting terrorist organizations, and internal wmd programs as we all know very well.
The days will come when the properly detaild books shall be published, and word will get out. I have been preaching for two years, GWB will be vindicated on this issue.
IMHO, there has been entirely to much cover their 8ss going on for the past three years. The hell with protecting European nations and Russia etc., as to their intimate interfacing with the old Iraqi regime. Diplomacy is as dirty as raw politics. Of course it is mostly global politics, but never the less, to many are still totally in the dark on this Iraqi wmds/terrorist support issue.
The only slight partial grudge against GWB advisors on this one, is GWB could at least over a period of time made comments that the day will come when all shall understand all the connections the Saddam regime had with wmd/terrorist support. Sort of go off half cocky. He folks. You don't believe us, wait, the day will come when it will all be quite clear, and leave the L/MSM and demorat goon squads stew in the pot.
