The centrist organization, best known for helping Bill Clinton secure the White House in 1992, was to unveil Monday its "American Dream SCAM Initiative," which lays out policies on education, health care, retirement and income. That's more to the point.

Moderate RATs can bray all they want, but the RAT party is controlled by leftist/liberal/progressive whose tactics, strategy, and weltenshung is retreat, cut and run, and surrender. These mutants don't believe America is worth defending. They believe America is the problem, not the solution.

Simplistic slogans and meaningless drivel are NOT a program or a plan. IF Democrats want more people to reach the middle class they should be voting to cut taxes and close whole departments of the Fed Govt.
The single largest burden on any American Family's income is Goverment taxation. Reduce taxation and regulartory buren and more people get to the middle class.
Democrats. Party to protect "the rich" from the "peons"
Republicans. Party for those who want to BE "the rich".

The democrat party has too many abortions they want to fund to ever cut taxes. Democrats: Hear me. You will NOT get any more of my money.

Moderate Democrats think they have the key to winning back power in Washington and across the country - a package of economic proposals aimed at giving every American a shot at reaching the middle class. Sorry, but they are too late. America provides that shot, not the Democratic party.

we already have programs like this ... It's called education... If people don't take advantage of it, then why should they deserve to be middle class?

Socialism is alive and well in the Democratic Party - NOT the party of FDR and John Kennedy. Nearly three quarters of the Democratic House are avowed Socialists - they start lying the minute they take the oath of office required of them...To Protect the United States Constitution! None have the courage to
protect the nation...all are appeasers and cow-tow to the United Nations. All except money from dubious organizations that are Anti-American. Socialized Medicine; Socialized education; Socialized housing; Socialized farming; you name it and they try to Socialize it That is not Freedom and Liberty and their brand of Justice is non-existent unless it benefits a Democrat.
Hold your nose if you have to but VOTE REPUBLICAN and stay a free nation protected from our enemies in the WOT.

I fully expect this latest attempt to forge a "centrist" message will get drowned out by the self loathing hate-America crowd. For crying out loud, one of the most prominent members of the DLC, Joe Lieberman, actively has his party working against him in a primary.

Moderate Democrats think they have the key to winning back power in Washington and across the country - a package of economic proposals aimed at giving every American a shot at reaching the middle class. People don't need a bunch of make-work-for-unproductive-Democrats government programs, they just need to get off their asses, get educated and then start looking for a job.

I, FReeper rogue yam, have a plan that will give every American a shot at the middle class. I call it the "Don't Be a Punk Plan". I will now share my plan with the world. Here we go:
Don't do drugs or be a drunk.
Obey the law.
Don't threaten people.
Get every bit of education you can.
Work (this is really important).
Be frugal and save.
Pull your damn pants up and speak English so that educated people can understand you.
There it is, world. My "Don't Be a Punk Plan". Guaranteed to work. And the best part is you can get started right away, it requires no outside funding, and it doesn't matter who's elected.
