Limbaugh will not be charged over Viagra
By BRIAN SKOLOFF, Associated Press Writer 13 minutes ago
Rush Limbaugh will not face criminal charges after authorities found he had a bottle of Viagra that was apparently prescribed to someone else, prosecutors said Wednesday.
Limbaugh, 55, was detained for more than three hours at Palm Beach International Airport on June 26 after he returned on his private plane from a vacation in the Dominican Republic. Customs officials found Viagra in his bag, but his name wasn't on the prescription, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.
Limbaugh's lawyer, Roy Black, has said the prescription was written in Limbaugh's doctor's name "for privacy purposes." The conservative radio host was released without being charged and investigators confiscated the Viagra, which treats erectile dysfunction.

It's not like he's a hardened criminal.

Viagra, which treats....... Ah, another wondrous AP dig.
Yea, like the only person who wouldn't know what Viagra is for is that guy who was in a coma for 19 years.

He should put several rolled up pairs of light blue socks in his luggage next time. He can put a Viagra wrapper on them.

I guess he's avoiding a stiff penalty.
To: Sub-Driver
But was he charged WITH viagra? (Never mind, I don't need to know).
To: Sub-Driver
The left may claim a case of premature adjudication but it's good to see Rush able to stand firm throught this trying situation.

It is generally not illegal under Florida law for a physician to prescribe medication in a third party's name if all parties are aware and the doctor documents it correctly, said Mike Edmondson, a spokesman for the state attorney in Palm Beach County. So much for the stiff penal-ties the media was aroused about.

"The evidence would never stand up in court." That must be why we haven't seen the one Mark Levin calls, "Rat Sh*t" limp onto the thread. LOL
