Chiming in here..a new social studies book in our high school states that the UN should take control over the Internet to insure accuracy of information, among other things. It goes on for about two pages on how this is a good thing.

However, I just watched Kissinger and Albright...and all semblance of rational thinking was absent...so I will have to dig for what was said by Karzai...LOL
Albright is just SO, SO obviously trying to push off any problem we have with N. Korea as Bush's fault...AND she kept saying over, and over...how she "holds no thrift with Kim Jong Il"...?????

It's also not clear who killed the civilians nor that the particular "victims" being cited were civilians or even killed on that day.
The more slugs like Murtha and Levin bleat about this the more convinced I am that this is a complete frame up. The real test will be, do they know this or do they simply not care? Were they been contacted by someone or did they actually conspire with someone to mount this attack on our forces? If anyone can find any evidence of something like that we may be looking at either a hanging or a firing squad for some folks, and it won't be Marines (except maybe a former Marine).
But Matt Cooper was not officially fired, right? I Googled it and couldn't find support for Matt's job situation. Although it is very interesting that his notes do not tie - excellent for Libby. Thanks for the link. I had to turn on JAVA Script but it was worth it. I did not know FNC was doing this and will look for more on other programs, if they are doing it. It proves how rabid and over the top Gabler is and has been. Gabler is worse than a normal leftist, he's a radical who believes in the Cause.

As much as I'd like to agree, wasn't Warner introduced as the chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee? If so, he would be the logical one to invite, even if he IS lame.
King is certainly no conservative, at least by my standards, but he did represent our point of view on the NY Slimes quite effectively today. So far he's also on our side in the immigration debate, insisting on border security first before any amnesty. He did concede that it's "what we call amnesty," which is a bit of a wimpy way to put it. I'm afraid that the new push from Irish Americans (who are quite influencial in his district's politics) for amnesty may weaken his position.
Wallace just announced on FNS that starting today they are going to be posting a podcast of the show on their web site. I'm going to go back and study up on what was said. ABC, CBS and MTP do the same thing. This makes it possible to really check on what was said and how they said it. Using the thread as a "near" time stamp will let me search for particular bits more easily, too.
