Strange title.
He shouldn't whine, wasn't he facing the death penalty elswhere in SE Asia?
"No justice here in Vietnam," Glitter screamed
Yeah, 3 years is not justice.
20 years at hard labor, castration, and a flogging... THAT is justice.
Although, I'd imagine 3 years in a Vietnam prison is like 20 in a prison here, and may well be the end of Mr. Glitter.
I have no love for Communists or Vietnam. But if he's a child molester - let him rot.
I've got zero respect for commies. Then again, no one made him go have sex with underage children. That's just what we call too bad. If he doesn't like prison, he could've exercised a bit more restraint.
If it were up to the "posties", their little pedophile buddies would be swarming the streets of Washington DC.
If I'm not mistaken, early stories said he could have faced death in Vietnam itself.
I thought they already were.
Although, I'd imagine 3 years in a Vietnam prison is like 20 in a prison here, and may well be the end of Mr. Glitter.

I think he can expect the prison will not be serving him high tea every afternoon. :)
Will he be staying at the "Hanoi Hilton?"
He's ex-British? So what nationality is he now?
Never heard of him.
That is the funniest thing I read in weeks.
I'm just shocked Glitter is into little girls, he always came off as a poof-tah.
he was convicted of child pornography and sex with a 14 year old (acquitted of that charge, actually) in 1999, and got out in 2000, moved to Cuba immediately, then to Cambodia, got deported on suspicion of child molestation, moved to Vietnam, and well, you know the rest now.

Didn't the NFL just request his song be pulled from stadia?
...............Hey!!!
Is he ex-British or ex-rocker? Is he ex-both? Mr. Glitter appears to be either a man without a country or a born again Barry Manilow fan.
Permanent resident in Vietnam.
WTF did you expect?
