"Ex-British Rocker" is a rocker who was formerly British. (What is he now? make him Mexican and Bush will pardon him...)

"British Ex-Rocker" is a Briton who was formerly a rocker. Although this guy was more of a campy pop clown than a "rocker." Back when he was on the charts I had him figured for a poofter, not a pedo.

But that's the Post for you. If they're writing something, it's probably the wrong thing.

Interesting, as a kid, I always thought Joan Jett wrote the song. I was always a big fan too. I also liked the character based on her created in Berke Breathed's "Bloom County" strip:
