Yep, ol' Ted is at it again!

Apparently, shoveling the marmots to death is OK

The best solution to all such problems is the modern compound bow. It would take an act of God for a pinko envirowhack to even know that a bow had been fired in his neighbor's yard.

"My neighbor got tackled (by marmots) two years ago and got chewed up pretty bad," Bain told the Yakima Herald-Republic. Send them a little south to San Fran. The Niners finished last in defense for 2005.

Bain said he doesn't like killing animals but had to act after finding two marmots beneath a stack of carpentry wood next to his house. How much wood can a woodchuck chuck?

Actually, they are surprisingly good to eat...remove the glands from the shoulder area, and cook as you like...tastes a bit like lamb...

Don't you think the arrow sticking out of the critter's guts would kind of give it away?

Don't you think the arrow sticking out of the critter's guts would kind of give it away? Tie a stick of dynamite to the arrow.
That would get rid of the evidence.
Of the arrow.

OK. Make that a small stick of dynamite.

Preferably a bolt-action.
.22 CB shorts are a wonderous thing, but often won't cycle the action of an semi-auto.

Oh, you're thinking the guy might run into the neighbor's yard and die. Take a look at www.aftershockarchery.com. Those things drop deer and large animals faster than a 30 caliber bullet does.

Government at its finest - making a bad situation worse.
Police add that town ordinances prohibit residents from shooting the critters... Officials in the state Department of Fish and Wildlife say residents likely will have to pay if they want to eradicate the infestation, and then only after clearing some bureaucratic hurdles. First, they must file a complaint with the agency's Yakima office, which then may refer them to a certified exterminator.
I'm sure these people are so happy that their bureaucrats are so helpful in dealing with exacerbating their problems.
