I have made a decision. No more FNC. I am so sick of Fred Barnes and Bill Kristol taking up air time as supposed conservatives. From now my only electronic radio and tv news is limited to the EIB Network and Lou Dobbs. At least you can count on both of them to tell it straight on immigration. I also will watch the Abrams report because he has done the best reporting of the 21st century's first high tech lynching of what looks to be a future minority.
Gardeners whose children will climb the ladder of success all the way up to pool cleaners!
"Is anyone watching Murtha? This is unF...g believable. I am so nauseous and enraged that he gets away with this!!"
Murtha: SPEAK LIES TO THE WEAK!
I don't like her anyway, but now I have a concrete reason. LOL!
He called Gen. Pace a liar in an earlier interview.
Kasich makes the stupid point that more people voted for American Idol than for the president. Dionne at least has the sense to point out that you can vote multiple times for AI.
Excellent work! Thank you, anita.
Just heard Durbin claiming the country is swinging towards the Democrats. He's wrong, but there is no question the constant Bush bashing for the past six years has taken a toll. Once the battle is joined more by Republicans across the country, Senator Durbin and the Democrats will fail, once again.
40 years of Democrat rule to get us into whatever mess someone thinks we're in is not going to be fixed by 12 years of Republican leadership turning it all around.
For those who did not realize it AG Gonzalez reportedly was ready to submit his resignation if BJ's(William Jefferson-the true black politico, not the fake first black president) frozen bucks were returned to his office.
GW saved the day by "freezing" (don't know where that came from)all of WJ's assets for 45 days. It was great show of standing up for what is right by the AG.
That was my understanding. I listened carefully to see whether he would repeat that calumny. He apparently has thought better of making a direct charge but he still made sure to say that this wrongdoing went "all the way up the chain of command" and to drop Peter Pace's name into the mix.
On principle I agree, but if this was the only bill that they were going to get out of the Senate under the current circumstances then voting it down would have meant no bill at all, which is a defeat for the Republicans and that would be used against them in November. You can argue it's messy, but the only path they could take.
I happen to disagree with this premise, however, since there is a viable alternative. Frist, as Majority Leader, could simply schedule the House bill and force an up or down vote on it in the Senate. He'd put all of the RINOs (of which is unfortunatly all to favorably inclined) on the spot.
Since he'd never do that I'm afraid passing the current Senate bill was the only hope of getting something that was acceptable.
My pleasure, krunkygirl.
I don't mind Not having a bill, if the compromise is worse. I DO think the House needs to provide more funds for border enforcement.
ref #84, I believe that Dowd may be playing with numbers here, and they are improperl dissing Sessions. The tone deaf Republican Majority better wake up and smell the Coffee. There is going to be a civil war over this amnesty part of this Senate Bill and you can look no farther than the McCain,Hagel, frist, trifecta for this. Most Americans that are polled do not want to seem unfair and be called racist so they lighten up their responses, but those of us out in the real world are seeing anger of gigantic proportions. I could do 15 posts just on what I have heard in the last week, and everyone has a different horror story about why there should never be Amnesty in any form. Get the damned fence built, build apartment Buildings on the Mexican side of the Border, have shuttle service back and forth, set up those fool proof ID cards, let them work here after being fully immunized, and criminal background checked, then let them go home to Mexico. Let the Mexican Government build the Schools and Hospitals right there across the Rio Grande or in Tijuana, or whatever. I don't care what Hagel,McCain,Frist say, the sleeping Giant is wide awake and very P!$$ed off, and will not stand for any form of Amnesty for illegals that bring in disease after stealing into our Country and stealing other people's identity.
To have paid $400 Billion into SS the illegals would have had earn $5,333,333 *million* dollars in wages.
There are 12 million illegals of who at least 3 million are kids. That leaves 9 million workers.
Therefore, in order to make $5,333,333 million in wages *each* illegal worker would have had to have earned $592,000 in wages !
Absurd. Timmy is just making stuff up to support illegal immigration.
LOL!
Excellent Quote.
2 legs good!
4 legs better!
I saw Murtha. Disgusting. Why is he allowed to convict these men before there has been a trial?!
Kasich & Scarbarough both lost WH support, then GOP support. Now, Kasich again wanted to run for governorship of Ohio, snubbed again. So his whining.
