Mass. Legislature to quadruple funds for gay programs in schools
MassResistance ^ | May 22 | Brian Camenker

Last year the Massachusetts Legislature stunned parents and citizens by raising the funding for homosexual programs in the public schools by 70% -- from $250,000 to $425,000 (and overwhelmingly passing it over the Governor's veto).

And what followed has been a year of unprecedented, aggressive, and militant homosexual activism in the public schools, from "Gay Days" and the Day of Silence in schools across the state, and even elementary school horrors such as the "King and King" incident. Much of this money goes directly to the "Governor's Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth, which funnels many thousands of dollars to "Gay Straight Alliances" clubs in schools, and uses thousands more for events such as the "Youth Pride" weekend.

Well, you ain't seen nothing, yet.

This coming year's budget, now being debated in the Legislature, more than quadruples that, to nearly $2,000,000 -- or maybe more. Traditionally, the homosexual activists try to "bury" their funding in various budget items and amendments during the budgeting session. But we've uncovered it, and it's not pretty. . . The items below are from the House of Representatives proposed budget and amendments for next year:

Here are the budget items:

This Department of Public Health item starts out with $350,000 (last year's amount) being doled out to the "Governor's Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth." But notice that pro-gay activist reps have added TWO separate amendments to raise that to $1,025,000.

RINO maybe, although he's not running for re-election.
Also, he's done nothing about this issue, at all.

I think we ought to merge "Gay Days" and the Day of Silence with Muslim Day, The Religion of Peace, creating a multicultural nirvana. Of course no infidel religions are allowed to partake in the festivities.

Well, to be fair to Romney, this is coming from the legislature.

But $2-million dollars of tax payers' money on this crap?

I'm more and more convinced that more $$$$ on education is a total waste. Catholic Schools get by on far less and peform far better. And wonder why when they're wasting classroom time on this filth?

I don't know if you've heard, but Mitt the Rino is running for president.

What a waste of money. The next time these losers ask for more money for education, I would say, "You obviously have more money than you know what to do with if you can find $425k to spend on "homosexual programs" when gays/lesbians make up less than 5% of the population."

Even the "Republican" people I know in Mass are "moderate." Recently, one of our friends complained that a certain candidate was "too conservative."

When I asked him for a definition of too conservative, he stammered and tried to explain that the candidate was one of those "pro-life hardline conservatives."

This coming from the "most conservative" of our friends up there. I am convinced there's something in their water!

A $350K hunk of that is supposed to go to the "governor's commission." Mitt is the governor, why can't he call off the "governor's commission."

Maybe some of that toxic waste Dukakis complained about. Let's just hope it makes the liberals infertile, too.

They should just switch parties already.
I wish we could get "pro-life hardline conservatives" here in OH.

Well I want to know how schools rationalize spending a flipping DIME on "alternate lifestyle studies" when their test scores, across the board, are in the toilet.

School districts should be called to account for their lousy records!

Massachusetts is the state where they teach "fisting" to elementary schoolers.
The place is a hopeless toilet - - if you are there, get out as fast as you can.
Run, don't walk.

Democrats, please stay.

This is precisely what the Activists want. Nothing short of mandatory child-child & adult-child experimentation will satisfy their goals.
