...On April 5, the House Energy and Commerce Committee held a series of hearings into the Internet and child pornography, focusing in on how child sexual predators use the Internet to find and meet their victims...
The ranking Democrat on the Oversight and Investigation Subcommittee that chaired these child-pornography hearings is Bart Stupak (D-Mich.), the six-time re-elected representative from the Upper/Lower Peninsula region of Michigan...
Stupak, under the guise of criticizing DOJ leaders for not appearing before the subcommittee, was actually attacking the attorney general and his boss, President Bush. It was a cheap shot, and it backfired on Rep. Stupak...

I'm an idiot. That's what the problem is. I had just posted Max's new article but I was also reading his old article at the same time. I pinged the wrong thread.

So I read the new article and I still don't get it.
What is the point of the complaints. That a dem is a devious low life piece of garbage? So what's different about that?

That's Black Bart alright. His good constituent response and lack of competition seems to keep him in office although this state also claims Levin and Stabusnow. It should be interesting as his 3 issue campaign mantra has always been to save social security and Medicare and create jobs. He'll likely win by default. BTW, did you know he's receiving disability for an injured knee yet readily bounded behind Klinton on impeachment day.

I kind of agree...mainly because I had read his other article and it was SO good, and SO spot on...I was expecting something different from him, I guess.
However, I am glad he is calling this Stupak idiot out...

Stupak said on C-Span that we can't drill for oil in Alaska because the Japanese would pay twice the market rate for it and, thus, Americans would never get use of that Alaskan oil.
He stated this much more stupidly than I am able to convey.

Don't know about social security but he is collecting state disability for twisting his knee while getting out of a patrol car - I since heard a prisoner was involved.
