When Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad got an anonymous text message suggesting he didn't wash enough, he did not take it lying down.
He fired the president of the phone company, had four people arrested, took other legal action and accused those involve of conspiring with the Israeli foreign intelligence service Mossad, according to the Iranian opposition website Rooz Online.
The website says Ahmadinejad, known throughout the world as a hard-liner who has threatened Israel with destruction and questioned the Holocaust, is the target of many barbs among the populace in his country.

Just think of the mischief that Mossad (or, the CIA, if it were competent enough) could stir up with a paranoid totalitarian society such as Iran. A few forged emails or text messages "mistakenly" copied to a distribution list of high-ranking muckety-mucks would be all that it would take to start the denunciations and purges - take your pick, do you want to attack government ministers, nuclear scientists, mullahs? All of them are vulnerable to such campaigns. The internal bloodletting would be fierce (and fun to watch from a safe distance). These barbarians are so predictable...

Arresting these folks was a matter of national security: by giving out the top secret information that ahmadinejad doesn't wash, they put his life in danger to the new class of israeli and US smell-directed weapons...
