The program returns this evening after a long recess -- with the president's husband groping an intern!

Huh?

They're just trying to make Geena Davis's character even more like Hillary. Just imagine the trouble Bill could get into in the White House if he didn't have all his Presidential duties chewing up time.

The MSM better take another poll to relieve their sorrows over this disaster.

Don't forget that the MSM will now have Katie Cronkite slanting the evening news .....

More like rolled up the the shark tank and fell in.

14 votes on when it jumped the shark and 8 of them were for "Day One"

I gotta disagree with you on E-Ring.

I liked the show. The plots were believable and the acting was good.

But it looks like NBC has put that show on hiatus too.

Yeah, fat chicks who had lost their remotes and had eaten too much ice cream to get off the couch to change the channel when Dr. Phil was over.

Wasn't it reported to be a smash hit when it first came out? Just wishful thinking by the leftist media I guess.

TV executives at ABC have all but decided to pull the plug on the breakthrough drama

Without a doubt, that is the stupidest sentence I have seen . . . . . . . today (I have seen stupider ones, that's why I qualified it). Someday, although probably not in my lifetime, Hollyweird may get a clue just how far out of touch it is and how much mainstream America is tuning them and their liberal message out. But I doubt it. These people live in a make-believe world in which the commoners (us) adore and admire them and do everything they tell us.

Hate to break this to them but some of us have important things to do in life - like posting comments on FReepublic.

Did anyone actually watch this show?

Yes, my sister, a retired college prof Liberal, was one of the 5 or 6 who did watch it. When she visited a couple months ago, I told her the show was on its way out, as the alternate media was already reporting the handwriting on the wall.

She didn't believe me, because HER Antique Media, wasn't reporting it. I told her, Watch, Wait, and be prepared to Weep, because it will soon be announced by your buddies.

These libbies are the very last to find out the news, if they ever find it out at all, because they are relying on the Alphabet Media, who are in the Propaganda Business, not the News Business.

Romney, Guilioni, Allen, and McCain

Davis' last good role was as a blond bimbo in "Earth Girls are Easy." Nice bod then. Now, just one more out of work, aging, bitter Hollywood Leftist.

I thought it was canceled a long time ago. Shows you just how much (or little?) I paid attention to it.

I watched the first few shows. They weren't bad actually. Lots of political intrigue and Geena Davis is terrific actress.

But when the plots looked to me like they were going to concentrate on the teenagers problems and the "First Dads" difficulties playing a second fiddle role I walked away and never looked back. Too bad actually. It could have been a decent show but it died like most of the rest from terrible plots and terrible writing.

I thought she was pretty cute when she did "Buffalo Bill" with Dabney Coleman.

I liked E-ring, but it has some flaws--most of those, though, were probably not obvious to non-military folks watching. One of the most irritating (although not serious I suppose) was saying "zero-five hundred" instead of "oh-five hundred" when using military time. Almost as bad as those who insist on pronouncing "nuclear" as "nuke-you-lar."
