Lets all just break the law and demand amnesty!

I WANT AMNESTY!!

I want to think about a grand experiment. I would love to find a way to buy assault rifles, have them illegally for years having used them all the time and then when I get caught demand that the judge I am standing before simply allow me to continue because on the face of it all I have done is what the illegal/criminal immigrants have done.

There is no sovereignty for us as a nation if we say that our laws can be violated and done so without consequence. Our borders may as well not exist. That we are a nation that tells all to come here and we will take you in does not mean we have lost our desire to do so just because we want to see you through our protective gates.

What have we got to show for over 40 years of neglect of our border? What disease have we let in because some people got here illegally but with them came their malady untreated? What "pass it on" effect will we suffer for this? What expense now gets transferred to all of us because of some kind of outbreak? What type of crime element have we loosed on our people the Constitution call ours government to protect us from? How many murders, rapes, thefts, violent acts and more have befallen our people as a result of Politicians who are spineless to act upon the LAW?

Well...that’s the venting portion, but in all fairness and seriousness what action should our country take?

My idea? Simple, for every person found without legal standing to be in this nation...send them back. Give them the information they need to come in legally and then get in line. Myself, i will no longer stand idle by...I will demand action and I will start with ME. for I AM part of its failure for complacency and inaction. This past summer I was at a local fairground for a county fair. Operating many of the rides were Mexicans who spoke not a single word of english. Here in the rural countryside of up-state New York they were operating rides for our kids...no-questions-asked. I even talked to a local Sheriff there and we both let it go. That’s bad. They should have had at least approached the management of the carnival company (which travels the nation) and demanded proof of citizenship or green cards or visas.

We are all to blame for allowing it but I must admit since it has not touch millions of us personally we have done nothing. HOWEVER....how much less in taxation would we be paying were it not for these illegals? How many more jobs available to law abiding citizens? (And don't tell me that illegals do only what we won't do, its a crutch argument) How much less a burden on our medical system would there be? How many more opportunities would there be in education to our own children? How much less crime?

Truth is we don't know...its like the hidden taxes politicians are so good at developing and hanging on us and we pay without supposedly feeling them. they line their pockets politically with our efforts and monies and then give us AMNESTY bills to tell the world to keep doing what they are doing....breaking the law of the United States and suffering nothing for it.

Its time to march in support of a Free, Sovereign, Law Abiding nation of Americans. Filling the mall in DC is not enough for politicians will easily dismiss a one time event. Marching on them must take all forms. A march of the size of the Promise Keepers back in the late 90's is in order...but so is an CONSTANT inundation of letters, e-mail's, fax’s and phone calls to ALL of them in Congress and to the President.

TOPICS: Your Opinion/Questions
KEYWORDS: border; freedom; illegal; immigrant; laws; mexico; rights; soverignty; unitedstates
I start today. My letters will be personal and sent to every congressional address I can get. My phone calls will be every day for as long as I can do to at least 3 reps a day. My e-mails will be constant and targeted and demand replies.

I want my country back.

Good idea.
Since I'm a habitual speeder on my Motorcycle.... and have been speeding for years and years...and I am also gainfully employed, can I appeal to GWB for him to grant me Amnesty and immunity from any future speeding tickets?
After all I'm just doing the speeding that most Americans don't want to do.

True we should now all become a nation of scofflaw's (scoff at the law) Because the illegal immigration amnesty BS has shown us there is no equality before the law, so why obey any laws.

Join the Minuteman Civil Defense Corp and join us on the border next month. A month long protest will get Washington's attention. It did last year. And why do you think we are seeing all this attention to illegal immigration now? Because the MM are coming back and Congress was hoping to put this to rest before we take to the border. AWB

The other day, I asked one of the FR open-borders types, Dane, about something that happened to me last week: Mine was the only car parked for 5 hours in a bank of 20 or so 1-hour-limit streetside spaces. NO ONE ELSE parked there the entire time I was parked there (parking spaces other Americans don't want). I received 4 parking tickets.
When do I get amnesty on my tickets?

Hey, I see employers who, in response to a labor shortage, don't want to have to pay more to attract workers. So in that spirit, I propose we all go to gas stations, fill our tanks and then drive off without paying, since the price of gas is higher than we are willing to pay. And then demand amnesty.

Unless those illegal acts are going net extra millions for corporate cronies, I wouldn't hold your breath.

Obviously, lawlessness has increased.

I was basically thinking the same thing....Can I, without fear of consequence (in fact with full expectation that I will be lauded as "brave" or "involved" for doing so) pick which laws to disobey today?

I agree, and I want amnesty from TAXATION. I would like to not file tax returns or pay income taxes and when I get caught receive amnesty.

Well if you don't want to call it amnesty, just tell me not to do it again, and let me start paying from the time you catch me.

If I get away with it over the suceeding 20 years or so, you have to give me amnesty again.....

I'm also writing to my congress-critter

It is my sincere wish to do so but I am limited due to being on Active Duty. You have my admiration and support. I hope there is a way to send money to help the finances of such org's. Do you have a link for us?

Well, you can start by turning yourself into the authorities if you ever hired a Mexican to cut your lawn, paint your house, move your belongings, or babysit your kids.

This immigration crisis is a TWO-WAY street. Aliens are not the only ones rampantly breaking the law.

If we turn these people into felons, I expect the same to be done to my neighbors, the guy who runs my boatyard, and every wealthy person I've ever known.

As usual, the political Whores believe the laws are only to stop the activities of citizens not the law breakers.

This is sending a potent message : There is safety in numbers for those who break the law.

But you would never get 10 million conservatives to agree to stop paying taxes (or to agree on anything for that matter) !!
