So, here I am listening to Boortz and he is going to talk to a representative from the group of people that the US and UK military rescued.
Boortz asks her why her website or any released statements do not mention the fact that they were rescued by the US and UK military. Their website and statements claim that they were simply released by their captors.
This lady could not give ONE FREAKING WORD of support for our troops because her group still views our "occupation" in a negative light.
Boortz asked her at least 6 times, "What do you have to say to the US and UK military who RESCUED your group members?" The first time she said that she would like to thank the many, many people who worked on this effort. The second time she said that she did not have the full details on the events. The third time she said that there were no captors present when the hostages were found. The fourth time she started on a rant about how we were still in the country blah, blah blah. The fifth time she said, "Don't put words into my mouth." The sixth time, she hung up.
Simply amazing........
Call me heartless, but I say not one drop of our soldier's blood should be spent rescuing these b*stards that are actively working against us!

I am truly distressed at the bigotry and close-mindedness you all display. Christian pacifism is simply not a no-brainer. Devout and intelligent Christians of good will have thought that the act of putting oneself in harms way to stop the aggressor and to protect the victim is an act of Charity. In the Summa Theologica Thomas Aquinas discusses just war in his section on Charity.Whether or not you think he is mistaken, even if you think that the United States is wrong to be in Iraq, a sincere expression of gratitude to those brave and loving men and women in our military who sacrificed and risked much to find your comrades is not too much to expect is it? Or are you, at heart, no different from those on the other side in that all of you are so sure of your rightness and moral superiority that you owe nothing to those who help you because they do not share your vision.
Thats it, isnt it? You treat soldiers the way the Islamists treat kaffir: They are dirt under your self-righteous feet.
Today, in the face of this joyful news, our faith compels us to love our enemies even when they have committed acts which caused great hardship to our friends and sorrow to their families.
Is it really love of enemies when you change sides? You have mistaken treachery for charity and think that because you love Iraqis you are free to hate me.
Thanks for the link. I just sent this letter:
To: Christian Peacemaker Teams
All people of good will must be thankful for the safe return of the ist kidnap victims. So I say congratulations.
On the event, I went to your website, hoping to find some message of appreciation for your liberators, some contrition at the stinging rebuke you received when your "team" suffered so at the hands of the people you thought were conciliatory peacemakers.
I was sorely disappointed, for your high moral posture is quite selective. As a Jew and the son of a Holocaust survivor, my particular interest happens to be Israel. In your obvious disregard for Jewish rights, you refer to this section of the website as "Palestine". Israel only merits mention in regard to the evil it does to Arabs. I saw that you appeared and demonstrated for the rights of Arabs exclusively: for example, the right of Arab school children to go to school, when they were supposedly blocked by Israeli security forces trying to protect its citizens from ists. When will you demonstrate for Israeli children to be able to go to school without being blown up or shot, for no other reason than being Jews?
The truth is, you are selective peacemakers. You pick and choose who has the right to live in peace and who shall die. The Arabs may go on preaching and practicing the extermination of the Jewish people and you will not make a peep: only Jews can do wrong in this awful conflict. No, you are no peacemakers at all, because as long as you appease and countenance real evil, you are waging their war.
Shame on you.
Sincerely.
Great letter Mad dawg. I hope they see that same sentiment over and over and over and over. Only with that pinch, will they wake up from the dreamworld they live in.
send her a bill
Oof! Superb line Sir
You just know this guy is a big Alex Jones fan. hehehe
They really are waging our enemies' war and the saddest part about it is that they do not see it. Even when shown it, like you did, they just deny it.
I sure hope that an event like this can really make some people think about where they place their support. Maybe that is a pipedream on my part, but hey, a guy can have hope right?
Useful idiot bump.
she'll probably be re-captured anyway
It's not full. There is still plenty of room and the supply is being added to daily.
These ingrates are the poster children for the following Proverb;
"Though you grind a fool in a mortar with a pestle along with crushed grain, yet his foolishness will not depart from him." - Proverbs 27:22
This nut?
Nope. She was the first one. It got really funny when the wacko guy called in later.
Wish I could have heard it. I think we used to get Boortz here on some radio station, but I don't think he's on a Denver radio station now.
Boortz just let him talk without interruption or asking him questions. Then he asked him if he had said all he wanted to say. The guy say "no" so Boortz gave him more time. The guy at first thought it was a trap but then went ahead and talked so more. Actually it was a trap because he got further and further into tin foil hat land the more he talked. It was hilarious.
BTW, they added an addendum to their original statement, which omitted any mention of the soldiers, and now express gratitude for the soldiers' risking their lives to save them. This is belated, but it acknowledges that it was the troops who freed them, not the te##orists and at least they said thank you. I think they must have got a storm of criticism like my letter and I congratulate the pajama media for striking again for truth, justice and the American Way. (fade to picture of Superman in front of the American flag).
I am most certainly glad to hear they have done the right thing. Now I would hope they take great notice of their own stance towards people in the military and they job they do.
Some of their own have been personally liberated from the clutches of terrorists that are known to take hostages and kill them for political and religious reasons.
I hope they take the time to realign their position about who the enemy really is in this fight. But, to be honest, I am not going to hold my breath.
