I'm doing good, thanks. The massive amounts of eye drops I'm doing are causing my pupils to shrink to pin heads, so I don't know how much of what I'm seeing is the result of the surgery and what is distorted by that teeny tiny window. Regardless, I don't have any big pain and I do have massively better sight, without correction, in that eye.
The big issue I'm still dealing with is having been awake throughout the surgery. I remember it, but I can feel that I'm blocking, as well. Thirteen years ago, when I had the corneal transplant with only local anesthetic, it was two hours of surgery and the trauma of that experience, not the surgery itself, debilitated me for 6 months. This was only 15 minutes on the table. Still, watching it from the inside....
I am probably doing too much and am getting headaches. I'm going to cut back on this thread and the Sunday thread, as well (as much as I can stand... you know how it is).
