A racially tinged comment, uttered by an apparently inebriated Imette St. Guillen, may have sent bouncer Darryl Littlejohn into a murderous rage, detectives now believe, according to police sources.
Just before Littlejohn was ordered to escort St. Guillen out of The Falls, a SoHo bar, on the night she was raped and killed, she told him: "That's why all you black people are in jail," witnesses told police. Every once in awhile two people who should not be within two miles of each other somehow come face to face in NYC under the worse possible circumstances.
If the guy's skin was that thin, then he had no business being a bouncer. When I worked as a bouncer people would call me things that would shock a Marine D.I.

I bam disgusted by the attempt to excuse the rapist.murderer's crime.
There is the "crime" and then there is the "event."
In regards to the crime: nothing excuses it, and the guy gets to be a guest of the NYS Dept. of Corrections for many years, if he did it. End of story. Nothing excuses it.
In regards to the event: The victim piled one stupid action (wandering around alone late at night drunk) on top of another stupid action (abusing some guy she didn't know). Stupidity isn't against the law, but it can get you killed very quickly.

The murder suspect is being investigated for a number of rapes in NYC. Obviously all those racist women never should have insulted this man.
Hopefully all the women will be brought up on charges, all except the dead one. Maybe the rapist/murderer can sue the family of the dead woman.
Exactly. I keep hoping to hear someone, Regreta, Gerald, Sean, anyone ask Natalie Holloway's mother on national TV, "Why in the world did you let your child go by herself to a place like that? Do you feel any responsibility for the death of your daughter.?" I know the kid was legally an adult (18), but....sometimes other adults have to be the adults.
So the guy has a hair trigger brain. Who gives a crap?
If the DA is searching for the correct charge needed to remove this creep from the civilized world, okay, hurry up. We're waiting.

Actually "murderous rage" doesn't seem to fit what happened. A murderous rage would be an immediate attack killing this girl. This was a cold premeditated murder with the rape thrown in for a power trip.
This said society somehow has given women the idea they can mouth off to anyone they choose and because they are a woman and only because they are a woman they will be free from defending themselves. Men do not generally make comments to another man they think can kick there ass because they just might get it kicked.
Remember the couple that was getting mugged by some punk, the woman was a model, I guess somewhat famous, said "whats he gonna do shoot us?" and brushed the mugger aside. He shot and killed her on the spot.
When I was at prom a couple of black guys crashed the scene who weren't from my school (I assume someone knew them). They for some reason gave me crap right as we walked in. They came back to the hotel where many of the kids were staying and started partying. Late that night they came knocking on my hotel room door where four of us were staying. I answered the door and told them the party was over and we were going to sleep. One of them started giving me crap and since we had been drinking and didn't want to get thrown out of the hotel I just started to close the door. He and his friend pushed their way partially in and I pushed them back and tried to close the door when my friends date said "God! Leave us alone you f-ing n*****s". I turned to look at her and they busted in the door. One grabbed the girl by the neck and shoved her toward the bathroom. I followed and pulled him by the neck off her. When I turned around the other guy had my date by the hair and threw her to the ground. I punched him in the face and we grappled tearing my shirt off. Finally we got them out of the room and security showed up but they were gone.
My point of this story is to say I knew there was serious trouble with these guys and I was going to do what I could to keep our dates out this and suck up my pride and try to just get these guys gone. If I was just out with the boys it would have been on. My buddies date for some reason thought it her place to mouth off and it cause the situation to go from bad to worse. Once these guys broke in they attacked our dates, not us. We had to defend our dates because she couldn't keep her mouth shut.
I would not be surprised if the attorney tries the race card, because it looks like he's going to have little else. We can only pray it's not successful.
I think most of us have encountered a woman, probably with a drinking problem, who becomes drunk and abusive and refuses to leave the bar. The friend obviously becomes fed up and leaves her BLEEP there at 3:30. She goes on to flirt with/verbally abuse this bouncer, all the while he's thinking "she don't know who she dealing with."
It's sad, but I can see the scenario. A woman can usually intimidate a civilized man, and we all know alcohol makes one bulletproof. When a man decides not to play civilized though, the Law of the Jungle dictates who's going to come out on top.
I hope they fry the creep, but they don't do that in NY, do they?
