BOSTON, MA — On Wednesday, a bouncer specially trained to detect variances in skin color and ethnicity was appointed by Boston Mayor Michelle Wu to keep the whites away from a minority-only holiday party. "Whoa, whoa, buddy. Do I detect Scottish ancestry?" the bouncer said as he roughly grabbed white City Council Member Frank Baker. "Look at the sign! No Whites allowed!" To aid in his duties, the bouncer reportedly utilized a flashlight, a skin color card, and a background in anti-racist studies. Though white people weren't formally invited, invitations made their way to them by mistake. To maintain the...

ORLANDO, Fla. - The last thing you want to do is make the Easter Bunny angry; because if you do, he'll become hopping mad. All jokes aside, the Easter icon threw down his paws in Orlando last night when he got involved in a little holiday fisticuffs. WKMG reports the person in the bunny costume put themselves in the middle of a fight between a man and a woman. The "bunny" appears to try and break things up, but then starts throwing haymakers of his/her own. Orlando police broke up the fight moments later while the bunny stood off to...

A 21-year-old woman has accused the bouncers at her local pub of discrimination after she was banned from dancing on the bar because she was told she was too fat. ABC News reports Jordan Ramos, a student at the University of Iowa, who describes herself as 'plus-sized', says she was with friends at Union Bar in Iowa City last month when she tried to climb onto the bar. Miss Ramos says she was told to get back on the floor because she 'was not pretty enough' and was 'obviously pregnant'. ABC reports the bouncer told Miss Ramos the bar was...

It was supposed to be a fun night on the town: three off-duty Fresno police officers and their friends celebrating a birthday in the Tower District. They hired a limousine driver -- and not just any limo driver, but a police informant in a high-profile murder-for-hire case. The night, however, didn't turn out as planned. First, they fought among themselves, a Fresno police report said. Then, when a bouncer from the Laughing Buddha Bar & Grill tried to break up the fight, two of the officers and one of their wives fought him, the report said.

THIBODAUX — Larry Luther didn’t see the Facebook post by a Terrebonne Parish child-support hearing officer about a barroom bouncer appearing before him who has 23 children and “too much time on his hands.” But people who read a Courier and Daily Comet story containing questions about the posting’s propriety had little trouble determining who the posting was about and called Luther to tell him. Now the 41-year-old grandfather says he is preparing to file a Louisiana Judiciary Commission complaint against the hearing officer, William Dunckelman. “I am waiting on the papers in the mail,” Luther said Friday night. “I...

When a U.S. military helicopter was shot down in Afghanistan, Georgia native Gerry Neel and his elite unit were sent in to rescue survivors. Gunfire rained down, killing three of Neel's buddies. "Prosecutors have called for Social Democrat youth leader Anna Sjödin to be sent to jail for allegedly assaulting a bouncer at a bar in Stockholm in January. On the final day of her trial at Stockholm district court on Thursday, prosecutor Per Lindqvist said Sjödin was guilty of repeatedly physically attacking security guard Babak Jamei. Linqvist also said that the racist insults she allegedly hurled at him - calling him 'svartskalle' or 'black skull' - meant that she was guilty of a hate crime. He said that a suspended sentence would therefore not suffice."

According to broadcast reports, an indictment will be handed down in the Imette St Guillen case. Until this week, 41-year-old Darryl Littlejohn was just a "person of interest" in the brutal slaying of Imette St. Guillen, 24, who was raped, strangled and suffocated by someone who stuffed a sock in her mouth and wrapped her face like a mummy in clear plastic packaging tape, suggesting that her killer wanted to freeze the pained expression on her face. Also, the killer chopped off her signature long, black hair before disposing of her body along a road in Brooklyn on Feb. 25....

New York -- A graduate student who was raped and strangled and then dumped along a desolate road was seen arguing with the bouncer now being questioned in her brutal killing, a law enforcement official said Tuesday. Imette St. Guillen's killer had also stuffed a sock in the 24-year-old's mouth and wrapped her head with packaging tape before dumping the body, the official told The Associated Press, speaking on condition of anonymity because no one had been charged in the case. St. Guillen, a student at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in Manhattan, was last seen alive early Feb....

A racially tinged comment, uttered by an apparently inebriated Imette St. Guillen, may have sent bouncer Darryl Littlejohn into a murderous rage, detectives now believe, according to police sources. Just before Littlejohn was ordered to escort St. Guillen out of The Falls, a SoHo bar, on the night she was raped and killed, she told him: "That's why all you black people are in jail," witnesses told police. The remark came after a brief, contentious discussion with Littlejohn, police sources said..
