So again we see the bond between our borders, whether they be our ports, air space and airports, or our borders with Mexico, and check pants Republicans such as the Rush Limbaugh, George Bush and Arlen Specter crowd. All of it is a question of borders - and that is why the Bush Administration and supporters are so keen on getting the controversial port deal through, which continues policies of weak border security. Because the politics of it are clear: If Bush succeeds on the port issue, then the amnesty for illegal aliens also moves forward. And if he fails, if his supporters such as Madeleine Albright (former Clinton Administration Secretary of State and now lobbyist for the UAE) and Jimmy Carter (former President, and long time apologist for Islamic terrorists) fail, then it is highly likely the guest workers program amnesty for illegal aliens from Mexico also fails, and could foretell that corporations and Agra business may actually have to comply with existing U.S. laws.
The Chamber of Commerce says everything is ok with our border security, that the border with Mexico is just fine the way it is, and our ports are just fine they way they are as well - the Chamber supports both the port deal and the amnesty. And, since Communist China currently has control on manifests of U.S. ports, then that makes it ok, in fact argues that we should have Communist China control even MORE manifests, and not only that, Arab nations and emirs should control manifests as well - in fact, before 911, everything was ok, and after 911 its still all ok, so dont look at that man behind the curtain.
Bush supported Arlen Specter, because Bush wanted to see the defeat of Specters conservative opponent in the primary. For the Bush agenda to win, the goal is to defeat conservatives.
From day one, the highest priority of the Bush Administration has been whatever Vicente Fox tells him is the priority. In fact, this was so important that Bush forgot to manage information regarding Osama bin Laden and as a result 3,000 Americans died.
But despite the polling that shows America dislikes Bush, disapproves of his managing of information, still Bush may succeed in his number one priority, which is doing what Vicente Fox says needs to be done. But today, there are less and less supporters of Bush, not only less supporters among his own party and base, but less financial supporters as well. But there are still his friends in the UAE and other Arab countries, who are, according to the Administration, our best allies on the war on terrorism. After all, there was the IRA in England, but we still allow England to run and manage businesses and interests within the United States of key strategic interest. So why not Osama types as well? Of course, the IRA never blew up towers in the United States, nor murdered 3,000 Americans, but that is not the point. The point, what is good for business is good for America. And now, here is Arlen Specter and his check pants:

WASHINGTON, Feb. 24 The Republican chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee unveiled draft legislation on Friday that would create a temporary guest worker program that could allow hundreds of thousands of foreigners to fill vacant jobs in the United States for periods of up to six years. to next paragraph

Senator Arlen Specter hopes his guest worker bill will be a blueprint for debate on immigration. The draft circulated by the lawmaker, Senator Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania, would also authorize millions of illegal immigrants who arrived in this country before Jan. 4, 2004 to remain here indefinitely, along with their spouses and children, as long as they registered with the Department of Homeland Security, paid back taxes and remained law-abiding and employed, among other conditions.
Can you be any more transparent?
Ummm....
I think somebody has "borrowed" Brian's computer.
Go away troll.
Brian, when you were a kid were you more afraid of the monster in the closet of your bedroom or the ghost that lived under your bed?
Stay on the meds, there is a good reason your Doctor wants you to take them
Troll
I'd say about 10% of the current people on FR fall into this category.
This is getting sillier by the second.
If the US truly does need guest workers, then the illegal aliens should be deported and legal immigrants should be allowed in to replace them.
You don't reward criminals, it only promotes more crime!
Is H. Miers an urban legend?
From the WashTimes article, here are the key phrases you need to notice:
"melds portions of other competing bills"
"merely a starting point"
"anticipates extensive debate"
"building consensus within the Judiciary Committee"
Senator Specter said last November after his first draft, "I don't necessarily agree with everything in the draft"
"Where's my veto pen?" "Think I'll veto any disrespetful bill that disrespects my oil-sheik friends."
"It might be under that stack of CFR material on your desk."
"Thanks. But, I still can't find it."
"Take a look under that pile of appropriations stuff, it might have gotten lost under the bridge to nowhere material".
"Oh yeah, and who's gonna build them bridges to the 21st Century?"
"We are-- that's who buddy!"
The DNC also hired a Bush look-a-like to make policy decisions and statements that run counter to Conservative thought. How come you didn't mention that? Remember the "vigilante" statement by Bush? Look-a-like. The Harriett Miers farce? Look-a-like. The out-of-control spending? Look-a-like. Wake up people. George Bush was kidnapped by the DNC 2 days after the election.
It bears the distinctive aroma of....
