Israel has no 'right to exist' (191 nations at UN and only Israel has 'no right to exist')
Haaretz ^ | Friday, 24 February | Bradley Burston

Today's quiz: Nearly 200 nations hold membership in the United Nations. How many have a right to exist?

Let's ask the question differently. How many of the world body's member states have a capital which even its closest ally cannot bring itself to recognize?

This is it.

One hundred and ninety-one nations, and only one lacks the "right to exist" in the eyes of fellow states.

No other country even has a "right to exist." No other country needs one.

Next up: What does a country have to do to lose its inherent right to exist?

A cautionary note. This is a trick question.

If you answered genocide, arguably the worst-case scenario, you'd be way wrong.

No one questions Turkey's right to exist. This after the deaths of more than a million Armenians beginning in 1915.

Nor did they expect Cambodia, which under the Khmer Rouge may have killed 2,000,000 people, to lose its membership in the community of nations.

Pakistan has no right-to-exist issue. This, after Bangladesh, 1971. The Rape of Nanking during Japan's wartime occupation of China? Japan gets to stay on the map.

Germany? Let's not even go there.

So why is it so hard for some people to recognize the right of Israel to exist?

A. The Jews have no need of - and therefore no right to - a state of their own because, as it is, they own everything, in particular the banks and the mass media, and because everything they don't own, they somehow control.

B. The occupation of Palestine is the greatest crime in the history of man's inhumanity to the innocent.

C. The very existence of Israel constitutes the signal humiliation of the Arab Muslim peoples in the modern era.

D. Only Muslims are allowed to conquer, occupy, claim, annex and

I doubt that even the capable John Bolton can straighten out this mess (the UN) even though he is trying. The whole thing has to be tubed. The US, as usual, has to take the lead in this. Kick them out of New York. Let them relocate in some third world hell hole like Mogadishu. Form a new organization like "United Free Nations". Make it a little harder to get in.

I was surprised the Hebrew Palestinian newspaper printed it.

"I was surprised the Hebrew Palestinian newspaper printed it."

Burston is Jekyll & Hyde. One minute he's attacking every aspect of Israeli life in the most derogatory terms. The next minute he comes up with an article like this.

Bolton, I agree is capable, but he's only there for damage control.
The UN rabble is intractably hostile to our interests. Unfortunately, the Dutch have a higher probability of expelling all their Muslim guests than we have of expelling the UN.

Holy Bible / Old Testament / Psalms / 2

2:1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

2:2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, Notes >>

2:3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

2:4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the LORD shall have them in derision.

2:5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.

2:6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.

2:7 I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.

2:8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

2:9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel. Defenders Notes >>

2:10 Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.

2:11 Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

2:12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

Taiwan is also denied the right to exist. Of course China gets a free pass on everything. For example, rogue US troops engage in prisoner abuse, international outrage. But it is perfectly okay for China to engage in systematic government sponsored torture. Israel in Palestine, horrible. China's atrocities against Tibet, no problem. The UN is largely to blame. The whole organization is controlled by dictators, hence, the worlds dictatorial regimes are whitewashed, and free nations like Israel, and Taiwan are planned for destruction. The UN must be stopped if democracy is to be saved.

"The UN must be stopped if democracy is to be saved."

I agree. It is, in many ways, an organisation which is every bit as evil as the Third Reich.

This article gave me the chills. I would have glanced at it in the past and said, Israel gets no respect. Since I am currently reading the book, Israel: The Blessing or the Course, it puts it in a whole different perspective when this situation is looked at from a Biblical perspective. Very interesting, sadly.

Move it to Gaza. Then make Gaza an international city.
