Muslim group posts anti-Jewish cartoons on website as exercise in 'free speech.'
A Belgian-Dutch Islamic political organization posted anti-Jewish cartoons on its Web site in response to the cartoons of the prophet Mohammed that appeared in Danish papers last year and offended many Muslims.
The cartoons were posted on the Arab European League's site on Saturday. It was not working Sunday morning because of exceeded bandwidth.
The site carried a disclaimer saying the images were being shown as part of an exercise in free speech rather than to endorse their content - just as European newspapers have reprinted the Danish cartoons.
One of the AEL cartoons displayed an image of famed Dutch Holocaust victim Anne Frank in bed with Adolf Hitler, and another questioned whether the Holocaust actually occurred.
Dyab Abou Jahjah, the party's founder and best-known figure, defended the action on the Dutch television program Nova Saturday.
"Europe has its sacred cows, even if they're not religious sacred cows," he told the program.
Denying the Holocaust is illegal under most European hate speech laws, which outlaw intimidating or inciting hatred toward groups on the basis of their ethnic, cultural, religious or sexual identity. Complaints about alleged hate speech are common but prosecutions are rare and convictions very rare.
The AEL espouses nonviolence but has gained a reputation for extremist views, and opposes Muslims integrating with non-Muslims. It promotes the participation of Muslims in political dialogue in European countries, but is internally divided as to whether or not to participate in elections directly.
It stood in Belgian elections in 1999 and 2003 under different names but failed to get more than one percent of the vote. The Dutch arm has had problems finding a leader and has said it has no immediate plans to participate in elections.
On Sunday, violent demonstrations in protest of the cartoons continued in Beirut when an angry mob set fire to the Danish embassy in the captial. Security forces fired tear gas at the crowds and their weapons in the air in a desperate attempt to stop the onslaught.
Casualties, fires and damage of public property were reported.
The protest quickly degenerated into violence when groups of Islamic extremists tried to break through the security barrier, prompting troops to fire tear gas and water cannons from fire engines to try to disperse them, said the official.
Troops also fired repeatedly in the air and over the protesters heads to keep the protesters away. Witnesses said at least 10 injured protesters were carried away in ambulances.

Look!
The Arab press has been printing horrible cartoons about Jews for decades, American's more recently.
Now you can understand why we're riotin!

"Oh my dears, oh lion cubs [boys] of Palestine, oh, flowers [girls] of Palestine, oh, future of Palestine, oh power and splendor of Palestine.
"From you [came] the world hero, Fares 'Ouda. He is the symbol of the Palestinian people, who stands in heroism, pride, and willpower with the Palestinian stone facing the Israeli tank.
"This is the people of heroes that does not fear the tank, and does not fear the airplane, and does not fear the missile, and they cling to their place until Judgment Day. The Prophet [Muhammad] said: 'A group from among you will remain standing on guard against your enemies. Their enemies will not triumph over them, and they will triumph, with Allah's help.'
"Thus it was said to the Messenger [Muhammad]: 'Where are they [the members of that group]? 'Who are they [the members of that group]?' [The Prophet Muhammad said]: '[They are] from Jerusalem its environs, from Jerusalem and its environs. And they stand [against their enemies] until Judgment Day, and every Shahid among them [is worth] 40 Shahids among you.'
"To whom did [the Prophet] say this? To his companions! He said to them: 'One Shahid from those [fighting for Jerusalem] is equal in value to 40 Shahids from [his companions]. This is the privilege Allah has given to you, oh boys and girls of Palestine "

Who would have thought the easiest way to insite Muslim self destruction was to show them a few cartoons?

More here (warning: Image heavy and some offensive language and graphics).
Okay, so turnabout is fair play.
I suppose muslims would have no problem if non-muslims torched some embassies in response?
We have pried open the soft underbelly of the beast!
Don't stop now!
DRAW MORE CARTOONS!!!
Then the world will begin to see this trash for the Nazis that they are.
DRAW MORE CARTOONS!!!
ALL ARTISTS TO THEIR PALLETTES!

Danish bloggers are having a field day...
Is that the link Medical Mess posted,,it is too good to be true, the funniest set of cartoons I have seen.
bump
That would be a reasonable conclusions.
Yes! That link should be posted on every thread about this topic. Tried to post the link on its own thread but retacool is blocked from FR as a source.
Do they really expect us to riot and burn their embassies?

And my personal favorite...
The Mullahs can draw. I'm stunned. For once they are doing something constructive instead of bombing themselves.
Let me see if I've got this straight. They are attacking embassies, torching buildings, rioting and generally acting like terrorists in protest to the founder of their religion being parodied in a few cartoons, some suggesting he was a terrorist? They seem to be missing the truth in advertising.
What a bunch of hypocritical monsters. It's time to throw all Muslems out of the US. A person who believes in stoning to death for adultry and death for cartoonists is not the kind of "Diversity" I want woven in my quilt. Where's my government to call these barbaric acts "barbaric acts"?
Oops. Starting to see some red Xs. I think retacool might have too much traffic right now.
Meanwile, back in SLC after a very busy weekend, I will make Danish Frikadellar today and try to avoid the Super Bowl.

Mange tak! Tak skal du hav! Jeg elsker dig ogsaa. Jeg vil spise some en gris.
What if muslims posted hundreds, or thousands of cartoons and nobody reacted?
Would they start a new wave of violence for being disrespected (ignored)?
Hate to tell you, but that web site is in Dutch, not Danish.
The sandmaggots haven't even figured out that if they defend anything before it is attacked they just look stupider and more clueless?
Might as well be Portugese. Can't read any of them. :>)

Lock them all up in a HOOTERS and watch their heads explode.
is that real - that pic of Bert? I always mean to ask.
Boy, those muslims sure hate jews.
I would learn arabic, but I have no plans to go to hell any time soon...
Apparently some raghead tard saw Bert and decided he was a fiery mooselimb warrior type and put him on a poster right next to the Islamic Pope.
Muslims make Satan worshippers look like the Amish.
Ruh-roh, Raggy.
The Danish underground during WW II saved countless Jews. It seems the Danish prople, when pushed into a corner, do fight back. Being so small they need our support. The blindness of the liberals is the same there.
Over on the mainland where Jyllands-Posten is published and where I lived for a couple of years, the attitudes are more conservative. Reminds me of Utah versus Salt Lake City.
The only image that would be better is the one from a few years ago of the "palestinian" moron posturing for several dozen photographers with the palestinian flag, and published prominently in Time and Newsweek...
Anybody got that image? I could have fun with that one!
It makes sense, really. The fastest way to undermine a demogogue is to ridicule him. This would have been predictable had we thought about it ahead of time.
Since the sum total of Islam is nothing but political demogoguery hidden behind a pseudo-religious figleaf, it is no wonder the billion ignorant savages who have had their lives sucked in by it would be defensive. Afer all, it isn't everyday that a thousand year old scam begins to crumble before your very eyes.
Ignorance + machismo x 1000 = Muslim fanaticism
Contributions are being accepted for humanitarian aid to "palestinians"... for art lessons
for some reason it won't open!
This cartoon thing with Muslims puts the whole "panties on the head" debacle into the proper perspective.
Someone shoukd get a pile of Korans, dump em in a football field somewhere, pour pig fat over em, call in the news crews and set fire to em. Let's see what happens then.
Much less destructive than burniung embassies.
The pics in my post? I don't know why. I use Firefox as a browser but I just logged on with Explorer and they opened up for me. ???
