GRACANICA -- Wednesday Telekom Serbia has reported that Serbian enclaves in Central Kosovo have lost their stationary and mobile phone services as well.
Many of these Serbian communities have already been without electricity for several days. According to Telekom, equipment has been damaged in Gracanica, stating that cables have been severed in the region and expert teams are doing everything they can in order to rectify the telecommunications situation as soon as possible.
Kosovo Serb leader Randjel Nojkic said that workers of the Kosovo Transport and Telecommunications Ministry cut down all the cables connecting the village Susica, near Gracanica.
Other than the electricity which we do not have, we only have partial water availability, and now we have no way of communicating either. Nojkic said.
He added that while he was visiting the Sveti Sava primary school, he found more ministry workers cutting cables.
When I asked for information on who ordered them to do this, they handed me a document in Albanian, even though all official documents should be in both Serbian and Albanian. I am calling on the Serbian Government to take action immediately and demand an urgent meeting with UNMIK officials so that the transport and telecommunications work groups and UNMIK Can solve this problem promptly. Nojkic said.

Albanians did this to Serbs in March 2004 a few days before the "spontaneous" riots and ethnic cleansing.

Imagine the uproar in the mainstream press if Serbia did this to Albanians in southern Serbia. Serbs have said that under Milosevic's rule the Albanians always had electrical service even though most never paid their bills or taxes.

What will the UN and "International Law" do to prevent attacks on Serbs?

Nothing but give the Albanians more money and power to do more of the same.

Sounds as if they're gearing up for another anti-Serbian pogrom in Kosovo.
And this is clearly acceptable to the West.

I think they have to. The international community is kinda sorta demanding that KLA respect minority rights and that simply isn't going to happen. The way things are going for them, they need to cleanse nearly every Serb from southern Serbia before they can accomplish their goal of an independent free market drug dealing zone.

exactly! With the Serbs still remaining in Kosovo it gives Serbia the right to defend their people should it come to that. This issue certainly is a bump on the road towards Independence for Kosovo. By cutting the phone lines means no warnings can be faned out to the other Serb communities. If Nato/UN wanted a true example of genocide this is it. I'm sure walker would disagree.
The Serbs have to return if the minority Serbs are to stand a chance. KLA will again create a distraction and the Nato troops will again be stretched thin then round two for the Albanian mob.

They did once....March 17-18...another one is coming. The independence issue and corruption schemes are the only thing keeping the flood gates closed. There have been several car bombs, (no injuries) on the main street of OSCE and the UN as warnings. The Mafia which controls Kosovo, and the UN work together with schemes.
They have been attacking the UN but with controlled warnings until the independence issue is resolved. Al Qaeda is also holding back and still working with the K-Alb rebel groups.....
