The 'gay agenda' doesn't mention you
illinois Daily Vidette ^ | 2/1/06 | Kellie Powell

Many of you have heard conservative traditionalists rant about "The Gay Agenda." But no one really knows what that agenda is. Well, I've discovered a copy, and I will summarize it for you:

8am - Protein shake

9am - Work out at the gym

10am - Rape straight men, give pornography to children, bulldoze all churches and destroy the sanctity of marriage (or what's left of it after Fox's "Married By America.")

Hey, wait a minute...

Some of the most important people in my life are gay men and lesbian women. And I can assure you, being gay does not mean you are sick enough to want to force or coerce someone into having sex with you. Being gay doesn't make you a pedophile or a pervert. (There are plenty of straight rapists and molesters.) Being gay doesn't automatically make you immoral, an atheist or a drug addict. Being gay doesn't mean you're HIV positive, dangerous, promiscuous or any different from any other human person. Being gay is something that a person is, but it is not who a person is, and it has no more effect on the quality of your character than your shoe size.

So why do people fear, hate and persecute homosexuals? Bigots typically give one of two reasons: 1.) The Bible says it's wrong. 2.) They find it "gross."

Now, I like God, and I like Jesus. But I think some of their followers are a few beads short of a rosary. I'm down with the loving thy neighbor and the doing unto others. But I think God and Jesus are about sick to death of people using their names to persecute each other. From the Spanish Inquisition to the KKK, every nutbag with a weapon and a chip on his shoulder has claimed they were acting out God's will.

I understand that the Bible is a cornerstone of Christianity, and it's important to take this artifact seriously. But in addition to the Word of God, it contains the biases of the men who wrote it. Biases regarding vegetarianism, men with long hair and believing the sun revolved around the Earth, just to name a few. A lot of people have read the same document and interpreted it in very different ways. And believing that your way is right just because you say so... that's not faith. That's arrogance.

The Nazis chose a symbol that had once represented peace. That didn't make them a peaceful group of people. Conservatives can use the name of Jesus and the sign of the cross, but it doesn't mean that their hate-mongering has anything to do with being Christians.

And now, the even sillier reason to hate gay people: 'cause you think gay sex is unappealing. You can call it "gross," "disgusting" or just plain "icky," but the fact is, these are also adjectives that have been used to condemn heterosexual intercourse.

Think back to being a child, to the first time someone told you what sex was. If you were anything like me at age five, you thought, "Why would anyone want to do THAT? I'm never going to! Ewwwww!"

Sex is icky. In the abstract, sex is like sticking your finger up someone's nose. It's roughly equivalent to chewing up some Cheetos, spitting into a cup, swapping cups with someone and eating each other's chewed-up orange gunk. The only difference is, there's no biological imperative to stick your finger up someone's nose or eat someone else's chewed-up Cheetos.

Take a look around. Is there a gay man on your street corner, asking you, "Hey... wanna turn gay? All the cool kids are doing it!"

Now, listen up straight men - it's time to get over yourselves. You are not so devastatingly attractive that setting foot in the Bistro is going to get you gang-raped. If a gay guy flirts with you, the rational thing to do is be flattered and politely decline. Realize that a gay man probably finds you attractive for the same qualities that draw the attention of straight females. So act the way you would if a girl hit on you, but you weren't attracted to her. You don't see women going postal every time a guy winks at us, and we're way more likelier to be raped than you are.

The only reason you could have to be afraid of a gay man kissing, touching, or talking to you is if you're afraid you might like it. And whether it's now, or in thirty years when you murder your neighbor like the military dad in "American Beauty," you will have to deal with your sexual confusion eventually.

So what do "the gays" want? Like most people, gay and lesbian people want to be treated like human beings and citizens of this country. They want the things we all want: Families. Careers. Safety. Love.

And if you think you're qualified to tell them they don't deserve these things... then I think there's a deity out there who's awfully disappointed in you.

She should start out by convincing the Nags at NOW that it is "good" to have guys hit on you any time, any place, and to ask you bluntly for sex.

THE MEDIA, that's who. Take a look at a good deal of content on Pay-per-view, HBO, Showtime, STARZ, even the network as to sitcoms. You can tell that a lot of homosexuals work in entertainment because the average household in the country would never chose to view this type of content beyond an odd quirk here and there for some but generally for a huge laugh by most if they even viewed or knew about the content. So what we have is a concentration of homosexual agendists in entertainment creating and fueling the type of content we now see and the latest generation now at highschool ages knows nothing but this type of fare.

I think the best thing most families could ever do is make sure they know what their children watch on t.v. and then limit their t.v. viewing hours to only a very few on any day, if even that.

I remember the statistic from this book:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0385311834/102-2684789-9244127?v=glance&n=283155

Here are some interesting statistics:

Sex offenders are more likely to be lefthanded.

"Ray Blanchard, the institute's head of clinical sexology services, has long been looking for clues to what makes molesters tick. Drawing on decades of case files (including the work of Kurt Freund, the pioneering Czech psychiatrist who set up the lab when he immigrated to Canada following the 1968 Soviet invasion), he and his colleagues have uncovered some surprising patterns among molesters. Men with a sexual preference for children are more likely to have suffered head injuries when they themselves were young. As a group, they have slightly lower IQs than the general population -- 90 on average, versus the societal norm of 100 -- and score lower on memory tests. And they are three times more likely to be left-handed. Almost 30 per cent of pedophiles are southpaws, versus eight to 12 per cent of the rest of the male population. The higher rate of left-handedness is important because it strongly suggests that pedophilia may have more to do with nature than nurture. Differences in intelligence could be explained by the simple notion that the smarter pedophiles are less likely to be caught. But a higher rate of left-handedness -- which develops in utero and has already been associated with a variety of neurological problems including Down's syndrome, epilepsy, autism and dyslexia -- hints that their brains may be structured differently."

Homosexuals are more likely to be lefthanded.

"Three Canadian researchers have shown that left-handedness is more common in gay men and in lesbian women than in comparable heterosexual persons. Drs. Martin L. Lalumière, Ray Blanchard, and Kenneth J. Zucker, of the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) and the University of Toronto, reached this conclusion by means of a meta-analysis -- a statistical technique for combining the results of many previous studies in order to reach a reliable conclusion.

The study, published in the July issue of Psychological Bulletin, combined the results from 23,410 heterosexual and homosexual men and women. The results for both sexes were statistically significant; however, the tendency toward increased levels of left-handedness was markedly greater for lesbian women than for gay men. "

Yes, and so were the guys who murdered Matthew Shephard, also a homosexual. Instead, we read and hear all about "hate crime" as the event that resulted in Shephard's death. Me, I clarify that, no, murder caused his death. Murderers killed him. They were homosexuals who murdered another homosexual. Describing it as a "hate crime" minimizes the murder involved, and it completely ignores the significant issue to that murder and that was that it was two homosexuals who took another's life.

Appreciate it that you posted that link ("THE PINK SWASTIKA") and consider it required reading for people of today with even remote cultural interests in our current cultural turmoils. I bet few to no people know that Nietzsche was ardent homosexual and "partner" with Hitler in creating the Nazi party, nor that their philosophies were based in homosexual "superman" concepts of power. More of why I've written as to concerns here on FR as to Germany's current "means testing" using the acceptance of homosexuality as indicative of worthy to immigrate versus unworthy if it's declared contrary to one's beliefs. And so much more, mostly our own American cultural and educational eliminations of these horrid truths and that was that the German Socialists were liberals based in concept and ideology in homoerotica.

I thought there was a book about Nietzsche's incestuous affair with his sister.

I don't know if it has been a given since the first episode, but one cast member of Viacom-MTV's The Real World has been homosexual for YEARS. Each season it is a requirement, it seems. Sometimes there is also a bi roommate. The producers seem to try to provoke confrontation (by booking certifiably crazy people and people politically opposed) and hook ups in bed/showers/etc.

Matthew Shephard

Remember Jesse Dirkhising, a teenage boy who was brutally tortured, raped and murdered by a 'monogamous gay' couple. Never let him be forgotten

Rod Stewart swars that the rumor is false about him drinking a 1 gallon protein shake before a show and having to cancel a concert.

!!!!!!!!

Maybe that's why he can't stand up any more when he's performing!

There's definitely something in the brain, however, particularly in old men, that snaps when they reach a certain age and makes them think that the whole world is going to hell in a handbasket.

I think it's called Growing Up, and one hopes it happens before he gets old. It's when you realize, as you could not as a youth, that there is a reason for the old ways. For example that the proscriptions against homosexual acting out were not codified just to be mean, but because it's a society killer.

It's like saying to an alcoholic, "you can't help it, so drink up!"

It is incredibly like being an alcoholic, a condition with which I have intimate personal experience. I had a homo woman talking up the lifestyle to me once and I told her "I'm an alcoholic. I need another scarlet letter like I need a hole in the head."

Not to mention that all I want is to marry and have children, but that's another topic.

Granting the writer the point, so what if I WOULD like it? It's still wrong and potentially addictive. It's still a deathstyle that leaves nothing but tragedy, heartbreak, violence, disease, and death in its wake. Take Heroin. I'm quite sure I would like that too but I will never touch it.

Nero also had a pleasant little practice of dipping Christians in oil, then crucifying them on Vatican Hill, then setting them alight while on the cross. Perhaps this is where the devilish tradition of the flaming cross comes from.

No, you're misreading me. I'm not talking about the wisdom of maturity. I'm talking about the abject pessimism of some who are old. I think it has something to do with the psychology/spiritual aspects of aging and approaching the grave. It's a pervading spirit of pessimism that says, in effect, "the world must be getting worse because most of my friends and family are gone and someday very soon, I won't be here anymore either."

But as I said earlier, as Catholics, we are supposed to be hopeful people--not doom-and-gloomers. If we have been "good and faithful servants" here in this life, a great reward awaits us in the next.
