I was not going to do an After-Action Report separate from this live thread and probably would not even be posting this, except for a change in circumstances giving me more time tonight.
This will be my very abbreviated report as much has already been said on the thread.
On Friday the 20th, the troops finally got relief from the traitors at the main gate where wounded and their relatives go in and out. Pinkos left the main gate of Walter Reed because concretebob obtained a permit for Protest Warrior to be on the two West corners, previously held by the Pinkos. With concretebob were other DC Chapter FR and PW members to hold the corners following our 40 week cross-street dueling demonstrations with the Pinkos, a struggle supported by the permits obtained by kristinn and tgslTakoma for months and months as well as the efforts of far too numerous other FReepers and patriots for naming here. At any rate, the Pinkos relocated after a short time to a closed gate a block away. At that location, few, if any, of the wounded and their relatives were subject to their cruel psych-ops.
This was FReep #40 as FReepers have countered the anti-troop hate group Code Pink at their weekly obscene anti-war blood dance outside Walter Reed Army Medical Center for 10 months now. Attending again that Friday were, the Father of Joshua Sparling and the proud father and mother of a Marine, who is currently serving in Iraq. Numerous wounded from Walter Reed came over to talk with us and thank us for being there.
Although the 4 corner offense of the patriots knocked the Pinkos back in their heels, we need people to show up to continue to hold those corners and defend our war-wounded heroes from the traitors of Code Pink and allies. We are winning our psych-op against the Pinkos and hindering their heartless psych-op against our war-wounded troops. Please join us and be part of the victory this Friday, Jan. 27, at 6:30 pm per details below. Please also bump this thread to keep it on top. Stand up against the Pinkos who've endorsed "the Iraqi resistance" (as they call our enemy, see here and here), given money to the other side in Fallujah, and called our troops "killers." Then, the Pinkos demonstrate at the hospital and pretend that they support our troops.
Lifting the spirits of our war-wounded heroes is what we aim to do. If you live in the area, please join us. As mentioned weeks ago and continuing to the present, Code Pink has been stunned into virtual web silence about the vigil since mid-Nov. Unless they suddenly produce a slew of reports, Code Pink has published only one report (about Dec. 2) since their Nov. 18 report as you can see on their website: http://www.codepink4peace.org/article.php?list=type&type=81 (copy and paste the address at left into your browser to get there). This has followed a series of humiliating defeats inflicted upon them by the peaceful and lawful actions of FReepers, combined with their usual self-inflicted embarrassments. Code Pink is truly stuck in a quagmire as FReepers severely hinder the Pinkos' cynical attempts to manipulate severely wounded soldiers and relatives in hopes of finding those who will join the anti-war movement and break faith with the troops still fighting a ruthless enemy. Code Pink seems to be phasing out most of their participation in the protest and turning it over to other groups as the number of Code Pink women has diminished considerably.
We had pizza, coffee, hot chocolate, and various snacks on site.

Opposed to our 32 patriots, the Pinkos were unable to rally even 20 America-hating traitors and their well-meaning, but incredibly-misguided, dupes. The dupes do not realize that their Pinko organizers, who claim to support our troops, called our troops "killers", endorse "the Iraqi resistance" (those killing and wounding our troops, see here and here), and have given money to "the other side" in Fallujah.

The Lying Weasel noted my report last week that someone had put chalk messages against the Pinkos on the sidewalk. He said that the chalk was "grafitti [sic, graffiti] and defacement . . . , as well as violations of a permit." Weasel, you are such a funny guy. OK, Weasel, if you get the U.S. Attorney to give me full immunity, I'll rat out the perps who dared put chalk on the public sidewalk. First, though you have to file a complaint with the police, "Wah, someone put chalk on the public sidewalk." Actually, you are such a whiner that you and the other Pinkos probably already filed that report with the police. What is the police code, 24-942, is that it for chalk on the sidewalk? On a night when the Pinkos withdrew in humiliation from their former corners, Lying Weasel would later write: "Was I angry? No… more like seething, and ready to bite my tripod . . . What was interesting was that it didn’t feel like defeat." If that doesn't feel like a defeat to him, his connection with reality is even more tenuous than apparent from his wacky political views. If that wasn't a defeat, why was he seething? Bet, that he thinks Algore won and is still President. Hey Weasel, let me explain it to you. More defeats like that and you people will, indeed, be swimming to Cuba. Free healthcare, free education, it's a worker's paradise, don't you know?

For those of you in the DC area, we need some additional FReepers to join us for FReeping Code Pink every Friday night, until further notice, starting at 6:30 pm and until about 9:30 pm. How about coming out this Friday? You can join us in progress if you can't make the beginning of the event.
Can you sacrifice an evening to honor the much greater sacrifice that the troops are making for our freedom?
We shall continue FReeping the Code Pinkos every Friday night until they stop their obscene blood dance outside the hospital of our war-wounded. If you agree with me that it is outrageous for Code Pinkos to protest a war at a hospital with war-wounded troops inside, please come out and join us in a peaceful counter-protest.
One of the amputees told me months ago that he doesn't want other wounded troops coming into Walter Reed and seeing only the Code Pinkos at the gates. He explained that the FReeper presence there was extremely important to counter the Pinkos. Please join us and be a part of our peaceful counter-protest to Code Pink.
Please don't let the troops think that regular Americans are too busy with TV, ballgames, movies and other recreation to peacefully counter America-hating leftists.
Being there with us in spirit is great, but we need people to hold the MOAB (Mother of all banners), other signs, and flags. Maybe you can't come every week, but please make it your patriotic duty to join us at least once in the near future.
As always, the DC Chapter's rules for protesting will be in effect.
Briefly, they are: No violence. No profanity. No racism. No provocations. Obey the law. Treat all law enforcement officers with respect.

Patriots should have all four corners of that intersection with Protest Warrior have the permit for the two corners on the West and Free Republic DC Chapter having the permit for the two corners on the East.
On street parking is usually easy to find. Location is about 6 or 7 blocks from the Takoma metro station and is walkable, but it is best if you get a ride. If you want a ride, FReepmail tgslTakoma (I'll be away from my computer), preferably with your cell phone number as far in advance as possible.
