(el snippo)

...sharing her forecast for 2006. Among her predictions:

***The weather will be even worse this year than 2005, with hurricanes in the Northeast, and floods in the Southeast. She blames "this damn warming trend."

**Two large quakes will occur in Asia, with two smaller ones in Washington and California.

There will not be a worldwide bird flu pandemic-- the disease will be mainly confined to Asia.

New health treatments include an insulin replacement for diabetes, a vaccine for stomach-related cancers, a breakthrough in MS involving the hypothalamus gland, and a vaccine that blocks the need for nicotine.

Gold and property remain good investments.

***The popularity of Pres. Bush and Gov. Schwarzenegger will continue to slide downwards, and Congress and the Bush administration will be embroiled in more scandals.

Troops will begin returning from Iraq.

Trains and trucks continue to concern her as far as safety and terrorism.

****The 2008 election will be between Kerry and McCain, and Kerry will win in a close vote.

What ever happened to Art Bell and George Noory? Did they finally drink the Kool-Aid?

Geez loueez, I could have made predictions like those. If that's all it takes to become a famous psychic and make lots of money then count me in.

I would love to hear the predictions from a woman that was on Fox and Friends in late 2003. She predicted that Howard Dean would not win the dem nomination (at this time he was thought a shoe-in) and that Bush would win the election.

George Noori was getting a little short with Brown by the end of the interview. She has great general advice, but her schtick has gotten annoying.

From what I read this morning, she also told Noory that she had "predicted" the West Virginia miners would make it out alive, while all the rejoicing was going on. I don't know how she reacted when the later news came down that they hadn't.

Kerry'd win in a landslide. The entire GOP base would stay home.

hypothalamus gland

Ooops! Not a gland, but distinctly brain tissue (albeit with local neurosecretory neurons.)

After they were found dead, she said she knew they wouldn't be found alive.
In the next hour George replayed her comments and was baffled by her responses.

Her reaction/excuse would be interesting. I'd be interested in reading her predictions for 2005 just for giggles.

And does it bother anyone else how often she invokes the name of God while soothsaying? I'm no theologian, but doesn't the Bible say something about soothsayers??

Anyone with half a brain could make those predictions.
How about who is going to win the Super Bowl?
Who will win the Kentucky Derby?

Making crazy predictions IS easy, but getting paid for doing so is NOT - otherwise everyone and his brother would go into this business.

I was listening to the program. She said all the miners would be found.
This, after the "news" had gone out that 12 men were found, supposedly alive.
She later said what she meant was she simply knew they'd be found.
Yeah, right.
I got a kick out of it.

It will snow in January.

August will be hot, due to the damned sun.

Democrats will lie, so will the media.

A famous neurotic celebrity will be arrested on drug charges.
There will be a divorce announcement following the arrest.

Bears will continue to defecate in heavily wooded areas.

Nancy Pelosi's face will be tightened, again.
The wrench will break, injuring a technician.

Katie Couric will dissapear few a few days while she gets another perk implant.

She also predicted in 2000 on the Montel show that Al Gore would win the presidency. I think she reads the stains in Ted Kennedys' underwear to make her predictions.
