New revelations that federal officials are checking mosques for radiation levels has the Council on American Islamic Relations in an uproar. CAIR’s Ibrahim Hooper fumed: “This creates the appearance that Muslims are targeted simply for being Muslims. I don’t think this is the message the government wants to send at this time.” A CAIR statement claimed that the monitoring “could lead to the perception that we are no longer a nation ruled by law, but instead one in which fear trumps constitutional rights. All Americans should be concerned about the apparent trend toward a two-tiered system of justice, with full rights for most citizens, and another diminished set of rights for Muslims.”

That Muslims target everyone else simply because they aren't Muslims and have no problem shouting that message from the rooftops of every mosque from here to Indonesia?

Should would like to hear the President say that and then back it up with strategic strikes on terror sites that don't abide by the friendly advice.

Only 40 years ago, guys like Ibrahim would have kept falling out of 15 story windows until a leader/spokesman existed who actually sounded like they WANTED to cooperate against Al Qaeda and present Islam as a religion of peace.
They are testing us to show the folks back home how weak we are. This war is a game of "which side will turn the other side into a blubbering mass of liberal jelly first?" If it weren't for the fact that we've permanently reversed Sunni Islam's dominance in the Middle East (by giving Mesopotamia to the Shiites), the Sunni Muslims would now be winning and they would FEEL that they were winning.
It's certainly the message I want to hear.
The simple fact is,if we can't tell the good ones from the bad-then they will all have to go.And soon.Otherwise at some point down the road,people in this country may elect a government of the fascist type.
Yes, IMO this is one reason GWB's poll numbers are going up. The story is backfiring on the MSM, and people now know that something serious is being done to maintain domestic security against our internal 5th column, the Islamists.
Second, the concept of nuclear monitoring isn't new: both the Wash Post and the Wash Times reported two or three years ago that NEST was monitoring thoroughfares into DC.
Finally, with all of the Islamist financiers and symps in Northern Virginia - many busted, many not - it's only smart to keep an eye on them, particularly the notorious Dar al Hijra mosque in Falls Church which was a meeting point for several of the 9/11 hijackers, among many other things (see Paul Sperry's book Infiltration for much more).

Not quite. This is based on the actual reality that it is MUSLIM terrorists who want to obtain nuclear bombs and set them off inside the US.

The mind blower here is that there may be a good reason to test mosques for radiation. Think about it; there has possibly been some radioactive material brought into the US. They want to destroy DC, including the liberals.
