Alouette was in a car crash (bruised but OK)

Dear Freepers,

This afternoon I was in a very bad crash. My car is totaled, hit broadside by a pick up truck. thank G-D I have just been discharged from the hospital with just some bruises. I am in a lot of pain, on meds, but I will be OK.

I just want to let you know I am hanging in here, I could use your prayers.

G-D has spared me so I can tell people to drive carefully and stay alert! May you all be blessed with a safe Christmas and Chanukah full of joy and close to your loved ones.

Thanks Salem for the heads up, though it looks as though I am late in line.

Alouette, goodness dear lady, I've been a few totaled car wrecks myself and you feel like someone (not a nice person) threw you in a giant dryer and turned on for 40 minutes. I see others have counseled you to take your pain meds. Hope you follow that good advice. As you move around you will be amazed at the places that hurt. You wonder, how in the world did I hurt THAT! I was in one wreck where some of the beads on my necklace were found in the locked glove compartment.

I would much rather reminisce, than be recovering. LOL kind of like being in the middle of child birth and comparing stories of it when the kids are two.

I hope you have a very merry Christmas and let your family lavish you with tender loving care.

Glad that you are OK. I also totaled my car two years ago, and I suffered a few bruises, but no meds were required.
