As announced by Rush on his show, his attorney Roy Black will appear on The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer on CNN tonight during the 7-8pm ET hour. He will explain the recent court decision. The decision was actually favorable to Rush, however, some folks in the media have attempted to diminish this.
Kind of like the conspiracy charge against Tom DeLay being thrown out was described by the MSM as "not good?" Yeah, we've seen this before.
FYI
They really want Rush bad, but it's never going to happen. He's so far above the left, like he says "with half of his brain tied behind his back,he can still out-think 'em" Go Rush!!!
Yep, same old, same old.Expect this to continue for any Rebuplican good fortune. The just can't stand still for
that, can they?
Rush explained it clearly on his show, and I am sure Lawyer Black for Rush will more than tell what has happened. The Florida courts have been after Rush for more than a year...on and on. They are doing what should never happen in this country, and getting away with it.
Ugh.
I just heard that too. I rarely watch CNN but I have heard that Wolf is a straight shooter.
If you watched CNN you would KNOW that Wolf is anything but a straight shooter.
If Rush wasn't doctor shopping, and I presume he wasn't, then the story that the arrested maid told was true. She was getting illegal drugs for Rush.
During the time he was buying illegal drugs he was caught up in a bank scandal in NY.
The law is that any withdrawals in the amount of $10,000 or more must be reported.
Rush made numerous withdrawals of $9,990....(approx). He said the bank encouraged him to take that particular amount so they wouldn't have to make the reports.
When questioned about those large amounts of cash withdrawals, Rush said it's just money he likes to carry around with him.
I will leave you to your own common sense conclusions.
My conclusion is that there are always a few sour apples here on FR who hate Rush. I just wonder why that is.
"If Rush wasn't doctor shopping, and I presume he wasn't, then the story that the arrested maid told was true. She was getting illegal drugs for Rush."
I don't believe the maid was ever arrested, she walked in and was given immunity for turning in her suppliers - but in any case she was not working for Rush for about a year before Rush made the pharmacy buys that look like doctor-shopping.
"If you watched CNN you would KNOW that Wolf is anything but a straight shooter."
If you watch xnn, you may not KNOW anything. Wolfie is just like his name, but more like a hyena. He is a slimey pos that trys to pretend that he is fair and balanced but he's got his thumb on the left side of the scale. I'm way older than he is but would love to go a couple of rounds with him.
Round 1 30-06
Round 2 not required; s/off
We will never know where he got the drugs and frankly, as long as he gets the help he needs it's of no concern.
The statements the maid told were up on Smoking Gun. Rather horrific accounting that may or may not have been true.
Still and all, it's quite an ugly story and it's been hanging over Rush's head for far too long.

True, You would have thought he would have found some way to cut a deal back in the beginning, but he made his choices.
I hope it all dosen't come down when we need someone like him - like when Hillery runs.
Here's a link I came across that gives a good time line of how things appear to have happened prior to Oct 2003

Has nothing to do with sour apples...if this were anyone else, lets say, i dont know...Crissy Matthews , you'd be jumping on him.
I love Rush, i had never heard Rush till i lived in MT, he made me grow up in mind and soul...opened my eyes...But he did do serious amounts of drugs that contributed to his hearing loss and probably doctor shopped, thats a fact.
I wish him well, falling from his height is not easy for him but not all that unusual either.
People who achieve great success often think the rules do not apply to them.
