Holocaust is a 'myth': Iran's Ahmadinejad
Iran's hardline President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad launched a fresh attack against Israel on Wednesday, describing the Holocaust as a "myth" and saying the Jewish state should be moved to Europe or North America.
"They have invented a myth that Jews were massacred and place this above God, religions and the prophets," the outspoken president said in a speech carried live on state television.
"If somebody in their country questions God, nobody says anything, but if somebody criticises the myth of the massacre of Jew, the Zionist loudspeakers and the governments in the pay of Zionism will start to scream," he said.
"Our proposal is this: give a piece of your land in Europe, the United States, Canada or Alaska so they (the Jews) can create their own state," said Ahmadinejad, who was speaking to thousands of people in the southeastern province of Sistan-Baluchestan

Iranian Cleric: Muslims Could Nuke Israel
Ruling Iranian cleric Ayatollah Ali Akbar Hashemi-Rafsanjani declared Friday that the Muslim world could survive a nuclear exchange with Israel - while accomplishing the goal of obliterating the Jewish state.
"[The] application of an atomic bomb would not leave anything in Israel - but the same thing would just produce damages in the Muslim world," Hashemi-Rafsanjani said, in quotes picked up by the Iran Press Service.
"If a day comes when the world of Islam is duly equipped with the arms Israel has in possession, the strategy of colonialism would face a stalemate," he posited.
Analysts told IPS that Mr. Hashemi-Rafsanjanis speech, delivered at a Tehran prayer service, was the first time that a prominent Islamic leader openly suggested a nuclear attack against the Israel.
Six weeks ago, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad told a "World Without Zionism" conference that Israel should be "wiped off the map."
Last week, United Nations nuclear watchdog Mohammed ElBaradei said Iran would be able to produce nuclear weapons in a matter of months.
(Man this guy is big trouble!)
Apparently the AFP is only days behind.
bttt
he is an idiot
Believe me, he is psychologically unstable
Tora, tora, tora... I'd venture to say this is a statement of war.... better heed it.
This seems to be a new incident - it says he "launched a fresh attack against Israel on Wednesday".
Oh, an Iranian rerun, because it didn't work the first time?
This clown isn't likely to be President much longer. He makes even the mullahs cringe in embarassment. Not to mention the sanctions the civilized world is beginning to insist on and the destruction of their nuclear facilities which loudmouth Rafsenjani has almost made certain. Rational Iranians have started to call for dickweed's impeachment.
Well....he may soon be the president of the biggest glow-in-the-dark parking lot of the Middle East.
He's living in a world all his own, isn't he?
Does anyone REALLY doubt this guy was one of the hostage takers during the Carter debacle?
He doesn't seem to take into account the effect OUR nuclear weapons will have on his "little corner of the world".
I've often thought the Middle East would look better as a little bit of glowing glass!
From other news, it doesn't look likely that our political or military leaders are going to make a move soon. It also appears that the Iranian President and his Mullah are trying to instigate a move now by our military and/or Israel's.
Hopefully, improvements in defenses for Israel are and will be ongoing without pause. If so, the mad ones will divert their gazes to countries that should become better allies for us.
Ahmadinejad
The man is on acid.
