Socialism is best because under socialism. No one has to worry about being poor or starving to death. No one is poor, unemployed, discriminated, everyone is equal reguardless or race or creed. Today such ideas are condemned as evil. Any attempt to protest against slavery and genocide and human rights violations are met with the cries of COMMUNISM! By the religious right and then they conjure up stories about Stalin, Gulags, tortue, police state etc. So therefore we must stick with the current system of sweat shop slavery, poverty and racism while rich people who already have all they will...

There is new evidence that North Korea may be preparing to for an underground test of nuclear bomb, U.S. officials tell ABC News. "It is the view of the intelligence community that a test is real possibility," says a senior State Department official. A senior military official tells ABC News that a U.S. intelligence agency has recently observed "suspicious vehicle movement" at a suspected North Korean test site. The activity includes the unloading of large reels of cable outside an underground facility called Pungyee-yok in northeast North Korea. Cables can be used in nuclear testing to connect an underground test...

London: Iran will supply Hezbollah with surface-to-air missile systems in the coming months, boosting the guerrillas' defences against Israeli aircraft, according to a report by specialist magazine Jane's Defence Weekly on Friday, citing unnamed Western diplomatic sources. In a meeting, held late last month, the Lebanese Shiite Muslim militia called on Tehran to "accelerate and extend the scope of weapon shipments from Iran to the Islamic Resistance, particularly advanced missiles against ground and air targets."

French MP Calls for Military Action Against Israel A member of French Parliament has called for military action against Israel; the Dissident Frogman translates the call to arms posted on the web site of MP Jacques Myard: France must act: war on Israel! War in Lebanon – Has Israel lost her mind ? July 18th, 2006 Multiple direct testimonials from Lebanon are coming from French people residing in South Lebanon, and particularly Tyr, according to which the Israeli army is shooting at first sight on everything that moves, and notably on civilians. These French saw a helicopter kill a whole...

One look at you tells me all I need to know about you. I am so tired of liberals that think they are so brilliant. You are such a stupid jackass. You are so stupid you probably believe that the Bush administration orchestrated the attacks on 9/11. Every time you go on the internet, every time you make a bank transaction, or pay a bill, every time you try to email a congressman or senator they are getting so much information off of you. Of course it is all a conspiracy by the Bush administration. I have screwed around by...

Hello, fellow white people! Yeeeeeehaawwwwww! What in tarnation is all this jibber jabber I hear about the Iraqi war going anything but one hundred percent perfectly?! I tell ya what that is: COMMIE talk! These Un-American libs (which include minorities, women, and other minorities, such as blacks and homosexual gay queers!) the war has turned into a black hole with no "forseeable" (whatever in tarnation that big word means) end in sight. To this I say, shut your damn mouth! The only opinions that should be expressed are those that are in total agreement with our distinguished president, Dick Cheney,...

All my life, I believed in Republican values -- individual responsibility and limited government. Then it happened; I found myself with a small child, unemployed and disabled. I turned to my church, and after years of regular tithes, suddenly I just wasn't their problem. My Republican friends? I was now a pariah to them. My only relief was to turn to government assistance for housing, food, and other needs and I was able to survive with dignity. So chalk me up as one who no longer drinks the GOP koolaid.

It seems that a "clean up" has taken place at the Protest Warriors Forum. They have banned several of there conservative members that supposedly had been posting gay pornography, starting personal attack topics against users, and/or spamming the forum. I have been a member of Protest Warrior for almost three years and have not seen one of the people mentioned ever post "gay porn", and the only time they have ever insulted or attacked anyone from the forum was in self defense. Most of the banned did have strong conviction when it came to homosexuality. Obviously there are quite a...

I wonder if America is called a terrorist organization now days. In my opinion we literally are. If you look at it from a perspective. We tell countries what they can and what they can't do. If they don't abide we basically go to war with them and change their government and maybe to an extent their culture for them. Is this not a form of terrorism? To force a country to do something against their will. In my opinion it is, but that's just me. An it's not just with Iran and Iraq, which are recent acts of this,...

In this war freedom should come first not after! In New Hampshire the Motto is Live free or Die! I don't need Bush spying on law abiding americans and taking our freedoms. Anyone who surrenders a square inch of freedom to the government in the name of saftey is a traitor and should be treated like one! Let the Bush Fashists all drop dead! Filthy Commys! LET FREEDOM RING!

Yaa, you repukes are not doing so well, huh? Imagine, you repukes control the presidency, both houses of Congress, and appointed 7 of the 9 Supreme Court justices. Yet the Supreme Court thre out sodomy laws in all 50 states and recognized the right of government to seize land for any reason. And you couldn't pass your Social Security changes could you? Sorry, that was your last shot. Come November, we're going to start seeing more Democratic faces in the House. It's the end for you guys. You guys are celebrating when Bush's numbers go *up* to 45%. Then Faux...

Bush’s giant Right Wing Noise Machine (RWNM) loves to preach about the Bush economic miracle. In fact, the RWNM’s current thinking is Bush doesn’t spend enough time talking about his economic triumphs. If only he did, then everyone would fall in line and believe in the great Bush economic miracle. There is one problem with this argument: it’s a lie. Any way you look at the Bush economy, it comes up short. Today, I want to compare Bush’s job creation record with other economic recoveries. As usual, Bush comes up way short. The national Bureau of Economic Research has identified...

Lies of omission about 9/11 -- stoking fears of terrorism THEY WANT YOU TO BE AFRAID The following post was censored by freerepublic.com shortly after it was posted on their "public" forum on 9/11/04. That forum is designed to appear as though it is a community forum open to all, but this post only received three responses before it and its replies were deleted, and a repeat posting at 4 am PST on 9/20/04 didn't stay online for 5 minutes! Someone is apparently watching closely over the content of the freerepublic.com forums and censoring them 24/7 (though they might have...

Mr President: I have nothing to hide, but perhaps the Secret Service does. I would not mind my interview tape being released, and will sign any necessary privacy waivers. Is anything on the tape sensitive? Perhaps. I do know my way around airport security; I ws certified to bypass it till Feb 2002. Maybe it's too sensitive because it would so drastically alter the picture of which agency had the clearest picture presented pre 9/11. Is it true what the agents said; that you hung up on them? The Truth not only sets free the Just, it always wins in...

CARACAS, Venezuela (Reuters) - Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez said his government will go ahead with the purchase of Spanish military aircraft and naval vessels even as he accused the U.S. government of pressuring Madrid to halt the transaction. Chavez, closely allied to U.S. foe Cuba, has stepped up military spending this year with a slew of deals for Russian automatic rifles and helicopters, Brazilian aircraft and Spanish patrol ships and aircraft. U.S. officials, who brand the leftist leader a threat to the region's stability, say they are worried some of the Venezuelan weapons could fall into the hands of Marxist...

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- More than half of North Carolina military members surveyed in the latest Elon University poll disapprove of President Bush's handling of the war in Iraq and his overall job performance. Nearly 53 percent of military members said they strongly disapproved or disapproved of Bush's handling of his job. And just more than 56 percent of that same group strongly disapproved or disapproved of how he has dealt with the Iraq war. Overall, 53 percent of those surveyed for the poll released Friday did not approve of Bush's job performance, while 57 percent did not approve of his...

Can you believe that folks actually donate money to The Free Republic.com censors/cheerleaders, when they could otherwise donate to impoverished kids! I posted the first 3 paragraphs of my home page on 10-7-05 at around 6:30 am, with a fresh identity, using treasury as the link source, at freerepublic.com. The thread was pulled in about 5 minutes and my posting privilages revoked. The first reply suggested that Europe had a debt problem as well, to which I replied that the DX might indicate that they might not be increasing their money supply as fast as we are and included a...

Yes it is. At least when it comes to hating Bush and you Nazis. Nahh. I don't advocate violence. That's for Bush and you scum who love killing Iraqi children. You are not welcome in my business, though, and I encourage all rational people not to let any Bush supporters in their business. We don't want your money. Try and find Nazi Germany. Maybe they will take it. We live in squalor now. Horrible economy, natural devastation with government laughing; we are international pariahs. Are there any decent people here who will join me in condemning this horrible administration?

who needs freedom anyway? I mean, look at what it's doen to us. America has more crime, more poverty, and more problems than any other country in the world all beacuse of freedom. The freedom to do what we want but shouldn't there be limits? Especially now that we are at war? Allowing the liberals to smear our soldiers and to sympathize with arabs is demoralizing. We never had this problem in WWII. We just threw them into camps if they messed up. Back when this country was young, we had no freedom. Everyone went to church, women did what...

This pledge drive is going way too slowly for my comfort. Please donate now! What if we lose Free Republic? Where else are we going to find a group of people who show unquestioned support for a President with 35% approval ratings? Whao is going to organize the "Free Tom Delay" and "Free Karl Rove" protest rallies? If everyone would just donate $1.99 (the price of a 6 pack of Pabst, as you all are aware) we can lick this thing. So donate. What's more important, your country or your beer?

From the Roundtable Discussion: Definitely a political problem but I wonder, George Will, do you think it’s a manageable one for the White House especially if we don’t know whether Fitzgerald is going to write a report or have indictments but if he is able to show as a source close to this told me this week, that President Bush and Vice President Cheney were actually involved in some of these discussions.

Doug From Upland's siting Arianna Huggington and Al Gore exiting large vehicles at a conference on the environment in San Francisco has set the blogs afire. But there are legitimate uses for large vehicles. Really there are. The I just don't think one person driving the LA freeways in one because the want to win a collision contest at the expense of the unfortunate person they might collide with isn't one. Neither is having bigger, always spinning wheels than your neighbor. Neither is because you get a tax writeoff for a vehicle you use only for commuting and driving to...

I’m not a bigot but I believe this question must be asked. A closeted gay chief justice will be vulnerable to blackmail and may try to implement an insidious agenda to destroy the traditional family. Here’s some of the evidence: -he only married in his 40s. -his children were all adopted. -he has supported gay rights in pro bono work. And I'm not even getting into all the stories about his high school years... Then we have the pictures: hmm how many guys here ever posed for a picture holding a dish? I was googling about gay judges and found...

I received this via email in the past few minutes, has anyone else read this? This can't be true surely? Washington (AP) - President Bush has, by all accounts received harsh criticism over his handling of the Katrina relief effort. Earlier Tuesday, he publicly stated that he takes responsibility for the federal government's failures in the aftermath of Katrina, but what Bush may do next could surprise many observers. Senior Republican party sources have indicated to AP that Vice President, Dick Cheney led a delegation of administration officials unhappy with the federal response to hurricane Katrina and its aftermath to...

Don't you think our president is doing well? Most main stream media(save fox) would call the president " the cause for this disaster". I want to be clear. He was not! God, allowed this to happen. Somne main stream media would call the president a non-sensitive man. Wrong again! Just a few days ago i saw our president, Mr. Bush holding two young ladys and comforting them. I saw some tears being held back bye or president. If any body calls Mr. Bush a "non-carring" man in my presance they would get heck. Then of course, there's people like kerry,...

First of all I "middle of the road" I dont blame the president for katrina, I believe in gun ownership, I think you should drive what ever you want, and I hold people responsible for actions they take. In light of the recent events in New Orleans etc. It is interesting to note that over a hundred fifty years ago the American prophet Joseph Smith prophesied that the day would come when the US government would waste itself waging war in foreign lands while at home the nation would collapse with natural disasters and internal amarchy and chaos as a direct result of the wickedness of the US people and the nations rejection of the God of this land, Jesus Christ. Coincedence? A lucky guess?

I support no one but our president I DONT CARE ABOUT RISING GAS PRICES, I DONT CARE THAT HE WAS DERELICT IN HIS DUTIES BY NOT CALLING FOR AN IMMEDIATE RESPONSE TO THE VICTIMS OF KATRINA, I DONT CARE THAT HE LIED TO US ABOUT WMD'S I AM LOYAL TO NO ONE BUT BUSH
