Oh ok, the Tara is the only indie theater I knew of in town. I figured Backdoor mountin' would surely be playing there but since that theater you mentioned is in midtown it will surely be the one.

It's only had more ink splashed about it than any other movie this year: "It's bold! It's courageous! It breaks taboos! It's about time!" ad nauseum.

I must be hanging out in all the right places, because aside from FR, I haven't heard anything about this movie.

I heard 12 million and they already recouped the money from Foreign countries that will show it. It is a shame, but the movie will make more than it cost. But what is the cost to the country? That is the problem I have with it.

Usually Tara gets the "Artsy" films. They have Capote now. I saw March of the Penguins at Garden Hills in Buckhead (next to Fellini's and La Fonda Latina on P'tree).

I pretty much don't go see war movies, but I don't mind them. At least those people died fighting for something that was worthy.
