Least we forget about Kwanzaa.
The story of Kwanzaa ^

Thus, Karenga explained in his 1977 Kwanzaa: Origin, Concepts, Practice, "Kwanzaa is not an imitation, but an alternative, in fact, an oppositional alternative to the spookism, mysticism and non-earth based practices which plague us as a people and encourage our withdrawal from social life rather than our bold confrontation with it." The holiday "was chosen to give a Black alternative to the existing holiday and give Blacks an opportunity to celebrate themselves and history rather than simply imitate the practice of the dominant society." kwanza has peaked.
Despite the attempt by some in the past several years to hype it, it's not catching on. Its roots are now plain to see on the internet, along with the crimes of its creator.
Whenever I hear a black person call into talk radio about kwanza, they make fun of it. The vast majority of blacks don't seem to want anything to do with this made up holiday.

I agree. If the MSM would stop mentioning it(which they wont) it would be dead in one year. A lot of black kids would be wondering were this Jewish stuff in their house came from.

Kwanzaa with its Marxist nature, will fail to mean anything to the culture without demagogues shoving it down our throats. At this time, the demagogues are reaching retirement age--Kwanzaa will likewise be put to rest for the sham it is.

NY Times December 1, 2005
Today, the Festivus holiday suffered yet another blow as the great feats of strength, part of the Festivus holiday has been removed. Leaders for the ACLU filed suit in NY district court claiming that the great feats of strength violates the disabilities act of 1992. "George Bush should know that the great feats of strength goes against people who are physically challenged", said Vladimir Chavez Hiss, ACLU chairman.
In addition, the ACLU claims that keeping the great feats of strength in the Festivus holiday would take away old peoples social security checks, cause massive unemployment and force a draft. The 9th circuit is readying itself in the event of a challenge.
The White House had no comment.
