Pushing bad news [Who Else But The Liberal MSM]

In a burst of anti-war triumphalism, Harold Meyerson of the Washington Post wrote last week that President Bush and the Bushies have run out of “elitists whom they can demonize.” Hmm. That is a problem. Where will we find the punching bags of tomorrow? Wait! I have it. How about the elite news media? Will they do?

Meyerson celebrated Cindy Sheehan “whose down the line dovishness is more than offset by her standing as the mother of,” etc. etc. Actually, Sheehan was more or less a summer-long anti-Bush media construct, kept aloft by withholding the news that she regards “insurgents” in Iraq as “freedom fighters,” hates her country (America “is not worth dying for”) and thinks Lynne Stewart, the lawyer convicted of aiding terrorists, is a real-life Atticus Finch, the heroic attorney of “To Kill a Mockingbird.” She’s a loony Michael Moore clone, protected by the media’s “bereaved mom” image.

I'll never forget when I was a Captain in the Army JAG Corps Reserves, during the Gulf War, my flaky Democrat mother had some peacenik call me and try to recruit me for their nefarious purposes...we don't get to choose our parents, you know. If we did, oh, well, it's tricky enough trying to choose a spouse....

The resolution for immediate withdrawal, defeated in a House vote of 403-3, was denounced by Nancy Pelosi as “a disgrace,” though the text of it was almost exactly the same as Murtha’s.

The story was not played as a defeat for Murtha. In fact, the defeat was glossed over as somehow irrelevant, buried in some major papers beneath “uproar in the House” reports. If the vote had gone Murtha’s way, you can bet that the press corps would not have played the “uproar” angle as more important.

The propaganda activities of the media is coordinated and relentless.

NO one is buying your Hysteric Anti-Americanism. What part of the 2002 and 2004 Election results DON'T you understand? Must really really suck to be a Myerson, a stuck in 1971 fool in a post 9-11 world.

Thank you for your service to our country! Even if your Mom wasn't proud of you, I'm sure you know that you had MILLIONS of Moms that were proud of you and all our Troops in pushing an evil dictator out of Kuwait.

You are welcome. It was and is, besides my children, the best thing I ever did and I wouldn't trade it for anything...

Whenever I see any one of our Troops in uniform, I always make a point to thank them. They are the true heroes who deserve accolades from all Americans. We aren't going to have a repeat of the treatment received by our Troops during Vietnam.

If we lose in Iraq, it will be the first great victory for global jihad, with tremendous consequences for the U.S. Can the media get over their obsession with Bush and focus on that?

I would assume that amongst the wacko's some of these Liberals understand the real consequences therefor I can only come to the conclusion the MSM and these Liberals are traitors and should be hung for there deeds.
