I thought it was interesting that I have seen almost no images from the riots. A friend sent me a link with lots of photos:

I love that one of Ronald MacDonald.
These pictures give us a pretty good idea of the scale of some of the burnings, at least.

Our own legion of lawyers and urban leaders would allow the same un-checked destruction to happen here.
A good Giuliani may stop it, but there aren't too many of him these days.

The first downloads are just beginning (slowly) and I am struck by the realization that real French firemen are risking their lives to put out fires.
I admit that I am among those who see the French getting what they deserve, but after seeing these images of real life people risking thier lives - it makes me very sad.
Maybe the leaders in France will wake up some day before it is too late.

It's a forum for Russian students here at PSU. I don't participate but a friend sent me the link.
I hope the server doesn't get swamped.

Hi All-
Google apparently doesn't like that site. Here's the message received when searching on it:
"...We're sorry...but we can't process your request right now. A computer virus or spyware application is sending us automated requests, and it appears that your computer or network has been infected. We'll restore your access as quickly as possible, so try again soon. In the meantime, you might want to run a virus checker or spyware remover to make sure that your computer is free of viruses and other spurious software.
We apologize for the inconvenience, and hope we'll see you again on Google..."
This message is only received when I search on the address originally given in this thread. Proceed with caution.

Cyrillic alphabet, so I'd bet it's Russian. I wish I could read what it's saying, but my abilities to read cyrillic stop at being able to recognize Russian Orthodox prayers and hymns.

I hope the French monologue again how stupid we Americans are.
And I do feel sorry for the people that lost property to the Muslim scum, enough is enough. I am sure the French folks are in love with their culture by now.

Maybe the leaders in France will wake up some day before it is too late. One can hope.
I have distain for most leaders of most countries but the french leadership ranks in a special category of their own. I'll not forget how they failed to help us after all the blood we gave in liberating them from Nazi tyranny. Not only did they not help us, they worked against us.
Sorry, I just can't muster up a whole lot of sympathy right now...maybe later.
