If the Nor'easter takes out Fire Island, we know that there IS a connection.
So why was the fishing village of Everglades City that has no festival and, I strongly suspect, no gay residents, damaged far worse than Key West?

Well, we're having cold, driving rain in DC today. It just happens to be the day of the annual "High Heel Race". (Yes, drag queens racing down the street.)

That being said, I don't know that these storms are punishment for some particular sin by God as some contend...we live in a fallen world.

Massachusetts has had beautiful weather for the most part for the past eighteen months. It did snow a lot last March, and May was rainy, but all through 2004 I watched the skies and we had great weather.
