Very good speech, and in a perfect world it would be a perfect speech. My memrory starts with the Olympic bombings and the Achille Lauro incident and comes up to the present. Islam has much to answer for, and it is not enough for a Muslim to plead innocence because he does not actively participate in terrorism. After 9/11, we all saw Muslims around the world celebrating the deaths of 3000+ innocents. Until Muslims loudly and decisively denounce terrorism and actively engage in bringing it to an end, I'm not putting my pennies in that pot. It's their culture, their people, and their responsibility and I'm rather sick of their whining. Sorry about waxing pedantic.

Amen! I was just reading about King Saul again last night. It totally ruined his life! His wives had false gods and when he allowed them into his life, it brought him down. Bush has given the false god, (Allah) an open door into our government. It's things like this that make me wonder if Bush is really a Christian. He goes through the motions but this is just like him forcing Israel to give up land to the Palestinians. IF he had read his Bible, he would have KNOWN not to make either of these foolish mistakes.

Think Islam's evil?? Just wait until you read the book, 'Judgement Day' (as I am at the moment.)

It is devastating in it's indictment of Islam as it's author chronicles the 1300 years of Muslim lying, hating, murdering, and plans of...conquest.

Also chronicled is the disturbing conspiracy of ALL countries -- oddly enough, including America (get the lowdown on the USS Liberty) -- to marginalize Israel since 1948, while propping up terrorist regimes like the bogus PLO....

Just as a reminder, one of the greatest murderers in history -- the vicious Yassir Arafat -- was actually awarded a Nobel "Peace Prize."

As to Dubya Bush's speech in addressing his "honored guests," it was despicable.

It's a big, big difference. Culture is religion externalized and made specific; the ideas America was founded on based in Biblical truth.

Every country where Islam has dominance is marked by tyranny, corruption, and misery, thus the flood of Muslim immigrants in recent decades to the Western world as they try to escape the cultural failure which is rooted in the oppression of Islam and the Koran.

We are in a war; a war of ideas that sets truth against error and Biblical and Koranic worldviews. Islam has said it will prevail, either through persuasion, or ultimately by force. I, for one, will not live under this tyranny.

President Bush—or any other American leader—acquiescing to Islamic demands for equality in the American cultural arena, revealed by this adding a Koran to the White House library, signifies once again how we are slowly losing in this critical war of ideas.

So we should certainly pray for him and the Administration. Ultimately, America's salvation rests in her Christian pulpits. Evangelical Christian pastors and teachers should be earnestly "contending for the faith," and witnessing to Muslims of their error by professional preaching of the Gospel, and critical review of the Koran.

David Jonsson's recent work, "The Clash of Ideologies: The Making Of The Christian and Islamic Worlds," goes into this in exhaustive detail. I recommend it.

You cannot befriend the Devil. He hates us and wants to destroy us. GWB is supposed to be a Christian. IF he is, he should know that.

Yikes, you are deceived. Fact is Islamics are not going to EVER be changed at all and certainly not to Christians minus a very very few. Those who become Christians are in peril for their very lives for the rest of their lives.
