Begone Troll!
Sorry, shoulda put up a satire tag
:>)
It would seem that I get all my exercise jumping to conclusions.
No prob.
I'd be worried, myself, if a 6-year+ member of FR was a troll:>)
I think he makes a valid point.
If the NO police get anything less than 3 years in jail, then it's no longer satire....doesn't it become a travesty of justice?
Is that the retired teacher who was beaten in NO?
yep.
Well, just d@mn. Where is Dick Durbin on this one? Stupid vs. vicious. Let me think...
Noob.
point taken!
Ahhh, just a 100% shot from the hip. Snicker...
It was great use of brevity.
Here's mine:
"Brevity lecture tonight - 9:00PM - 9:02PM"
The old guy ended up being a drug addict who was stumbling around almost into a police horse before the cameras went on.
The idiot army lady who did that leash thing went to jail.
You need to learn about context, reality and the facts before you engage your fingers on a nice forum like this IMO.
Just add it to the list of NO/LA dysfunctional society evidence.
Is it possible the satire tag I put up earlier escaped rendering in your browser?
:>)
Even IF the guy was a loser, the inequity in perception stands.
Context? I think it is a fair analogy and not out of context, but I'm willing to debate that.
Reality? Both photos are real.
Facts? Well, the first caption is a summary of the liberal view as well as the factual result.
The second? May I ask that you clarify your summary? Do you really think he deserved this? If so, I'm willing to read your reasoning. I've been known to change my mind:>)
But what do I know...I'm a Noob!
I think the police get a pass far too often in this country. That is probably because people want to give them the benefit of the doubt due to the dangerous nature of their jobs. Funny that they don't tend to give soldiers the same benefit.
You know, that is EXACTLY what I was trying to portray.
Thank you for stating it better than I could!
