By the way it's not Bush's fault I had to make this thread. End rant.

How could a Bush's fault thread NOT be Bush's fault?

The phrase is not as funny as it once was, but the phenomenon to which it refers has not gone away. "Blame Bush" is still a pervasive phenomenon that deserves to be outed and not just in this forum. Not only does "Blame Bush" stand in the stead of actual thinking on the part of leftward sheep, it stands in the stead of actual ideas on the part of the leftward leadership.

So it is not time yet to let go of the idea in my opinion. For example, I posted after Katrina, in an open forum dominated by Bush-haters, that they have reached the very heights of foolishness who blame the weather patterns on the American President. I think it just might resonate with some who got the weaker blend of Michael Moore Kool-Aid.

If you would let it, the cliche would just die on its own over time. You have no patience. Now you will get a flurry of bush fault posts just to spite you....and I will join them.

Sometimes it really is Bush's fault. (Open borders, for example.) Other times folks defend Bush, and then he goes on TV and claims it really WAS his fault. (FEMA/Katrina).

So unless you sign back on as a moderator and re-post this, I'll decline to take instruction from you.

Open borders, yes.

Billions of taxpayers dollars to foreign nations (many enemies of the USA), yes.

Picking Harriet Miers, yes.

Failing to pick a qualified originalist to SCOTUS, yes.

Signing the CFR Bill, a bill that Bush himself said was not Constitutional, yes.

Signing pork filled legislation, yes.

Allowing Manslaughter Kennedy to write the Education Bill (an then ADDING ON BILLIONS more than what even Kennedy asked for), yes.

Signing the Brownsfileds Bill, yes.

Nation building in Iraq instead of fighting terrorism, yes.

$15 billion to Africa to maintain bad sex practices and to maintain female genital mutilation, yes.

Cutting back on military weapon platforms while increasing global welfare, yes.

Accepting blame for New Orleans, even though Bush had nothing to do with that mess, yes.

Threatening to veto the Highway Bill then signing the pork filled bill, yes.

Crying wolf over other bills then signing them, yes.

Going on record as the most socialistic spender ever in the history of the world, yes.

Signing the Prescription Drug Bill claiming it will cost $400 billion, then before the ink is dry, we learn it will cost well over $1 trillion, yes.

More and more and more............, yes.

Good thread!

I don't think anyone finds it funny anymore.

THANK YOU!!! I'm sick of seeing people saying that every thing is Bush's fault. Every time I see someone say that it's Bush's fault I want to reach through my computer screen and choke them. LOL
