How, in the Katrina debate, can we be talking about racism?
Town Hall.com ^ | September 12, 2005 | Star Parker

"The charges of racism-inspired foot-dragging isn't just nonsense. It's pernicious nonsense."

This is how the New York Daily News called it regarding charges, from the usual circle of black leaders, that the rescue efforts in New Orleans were slow because the victims were black. The Daily News is right. Except it's even worse than the paper appreciates.

What we are witnessing is a well-honed black political public-relations operation geared to obfuscation, stoking hatred and fear, and nurturing helplessness and dependence among black citizens. Such efforts keep black politicians powerful, diversity businesses prosperous and blacks poor.

What is it going to take for these poor people to finally understand Jesse & Co. have been screwing them for years and they are the ones keeping them down, not the Man, not anymore.

I love this quote:

Jesse Jackson is now touring through Louisiana. Where was he as Katrina thundered toward New Orleans, with a population almost 70 percent black and poor? He was in Venezuela embracing President Hugo Chavez,

I love it too and it sure is the damn truth. Jesse is such a fraud that until he passes to the next life, his people as he calls them will suffer til the end of time.

Actually, they should be talking about "slowism!"

Slow to move. Slow to evac. Slow to Act. Slow to decide.

The result: People were suffering and dying slowly!

To hear the Dims on TV is a reminder that they always overplay their hand. There is nothing sympathetic about the looting and the murders and the crap that went down in the Superdome. I feel sorry for all involved, but to make the George W. the goat and Nagin and Blanco the heros simply won't fly.

The more the Dims and the MSM think they've won here the more they are losing the battle with the American people who are slowly seeing that they have no true interest in fixing anything, in saving anyone, in rebuilding or correcting true fault. Once again, the Dims are just proving that they are unfit for leadership. They simply try to tear down those who have the difficult task of caring and repairing.

I don't want to call the people of New Orleans Victims anymore.

I want to call them refugees escaping the modern day slavery of the Democratic party.

The Democrats used them and relied on their votes while they lived amongst the worst poverty, homicide rates and public education in the country. Now the true beauty within these people is going to shine for all to see as these repressed people are no longer under the stranglehold of liberalism.

God Bless them on their journey
