The Aussie left detests Howard as much as the American left hates Bush, and the left hates both of them more than they hate the Islamists. This is why I am forced to conclude: the main task of conservatives in this era is to defend and preserve Western civilization. They left will NOT do it.

Could be. But then it could be a diversion to tie up all emergency personnel, police, etc., in order to (God forbid) insure the success of a much larger devastation in the works. Time will tell.

Further, any religion that preaches killing innocent citizens is an illegal cult. I would do it mosque-by-mosque, myself. The sooner the better. But... it will take a river of blood before we can do something like that.

We had a full declaration of war, which gives the president tremendous emergency powers. That will be needed here, sooner or later.
Also in at least one of the vehicles. That was why I was wondering if the bad guys had to resort to using substandard "explosives"--the authorities might have gotten most of the "good stuff."
