Judge Returns Records to Rush Limbaugh
In an apparent legal victory for top talk radio host Rush Limbaugh, Florida Circuit Judge Thomas Barkdull has returned most of his medical records to his attorney, Roy Black - thereby denying prosecutors "free rein" over Limbaugh's medical file.

Now I am Confused, AP is reporting just the opposite of this story.
Good news for Rush! And for the rest of us, as none of us would have been safe.
ummm, no, they are nowhere NEAR "humanity"
THIS IS MOST AWESOME!!!!
Actually both articles sat about the same thing. Perhaps a better title for this thread would be Limbaugh Wins Return of Most Med. Records
"Barkdull wrote in his formal order that the state was given only those records that fell within the scope of the investigation. The rest were returned to Black."
LOL, you know I actually paused for a few moments after typing "humanity" and considering changing the term.
I was feeling charitable I guess.
Very possible .. but if they use them, they are in big trouble
LOL again, see my post #29.
I guess you could call it "most of" a victory.
A judge has turned over some of Limbaugh's medical records to prosecutors.

Did you just accuse the residents of DU of being part of "humanity"? I strongly resent that remark.
I can't believe this happened in the first place.
The Democrats in Florida are really out of
control.
Finally, a judge who apparently knows the
law.
This is a definite good spin on what earlier, wasn't described so positively. We just don't know whether the spin is coming from Black or NewsMax.
Nothing wrong with charity.
Hehehe
There's nothing to be confused about. We already know AP will not say anything nice about Rush - and would of course try to construe this as a win for the prosecutor.
It's not a win. The judge has returned all but a few pages - and then it's only the pages which are pertinent to the case. Therefore .. THE PROSECUTORS GOT NOTHING!!! Because there is no evidence in the pages they received which prove "doctor shopping".
Congratulations RUSH! I hope this is all over with soon....
Can't the judge throw out anything that doesn't pertain to those records the prosecutor is allowed to use.
In other words .. the pages of the medical records the prosecutor now has is all that can be used in regard to the case. If they get into court and try to enter other stuff into evidence or to ask questions about medical information they're not supposed to have - I believe Black will wipe the floor with them.
