Once you get on the IRS's ping list you never get off ;-)
Dear IRS,
Enjoy your bloodsucking this year because it will probably be your last.
Yours truly,
HR-25 (Fairtax)
My dear beautiful young lady........
You may be unaware of the truth you just posted......
I have personal experience with that....
(I could tell you some stories, believe you me)
Tax his land, tax his wage,
Tax his bed in which he lays.
Tax his tractor, tax his mule,
Teach him taxes is the rule.
Tax his cow, tax his goat,
Tax his pants, tax his coat.
Tax his ties, tax his shirts,
Tax his work, tax his dirt.
Tax his chew, tax his smoke,
Teach him taxes are no joke.
Tax his car, tax his ass
Tax the roads he must pass.
Tax his tobacco, tax his drink,
Tax him if he tries to think.
Tax his booze, tax his beers,
If he cries, tax his tears.
Tax his bills, tax his gas,
Tax his notes, tax his cash.
Tax him good and let him know
That after taxes, he has no dough.
If he hollers, tax him more,
Tax him until he's good and sore.
Tax his coffin, tax his grave,
Tax the sod in which he lays.
Put these words upon his tomb,
"Taxes drove me to my doom!"
And when he's gone, we won't relax,
We'll still be after the inheritance TAX!

"I'm proud to be paying taxes in the United States. The only thing is -- I could be just as proud for half the money." -- Arthur Godfrey
My sentiments, too.
yeah..sure...I know we need to pay for the services we use...but we are paying for gov't sponsored sex...only drawback is that we are paying people that we would never consider having sex with (i.e. ted kennedy, hildabeast et al) to screw us on a regular basis!!!
Guess our brains really are in our pants cause we sure aren't using them to educate folks to vote these folks out. Don't even mention term limits to a career politician or he/she just might hire a hit man to come after you...
I remember Arthur Godfrey very well. Used to listen to him on the old Philco almost every morning. It was a great old radio program. He was a good man.
(May he rest in peace)
LOL! Now THAT'S funny!
I have never been chastised in such a diplomatic and professional manner. Guess I had it coming.
Saw this in the paper today. I really related.
Is that the video that has the demon pop up and scream in our face? That scared another freeper sooooo bad, he had troubles for days trying to get over it.
Was the video you were sent about a man that dared the IRS to prosecute him?
We all benefited from our teachers in grade school too. But the ones we really benefited from were the ones that let us follow our own light without hindrance and with the tools we needed. For government, that means a free market and enforcement of laws and contracts combined with the security of a national and local (police, fire department) defense. Not much more.
Yes. I believe it is.............
I remember Arthur Godfrey on b&w TV, c.'54. IIRC he was sponsored by Liptons Tea. I think he had the soup spoon with a magnifying lens to find the piece of chicken in canned chicken noodle soup. :)
I thought so...I watched about 3 seconds of the car and thought I remembered the ending!! I quickly shut it off!
Well, you're "one up" on me. My Uncle (actually my great uncle.....my grandpa's brother) bought a TV back about 1948. One of the first in our area.
(He'd left the ranch and moved to town. All the folks thought he wuz rich fer doin' thet)
I remember goin' to his house and watchin' th TV on the weekends sometimes. (His name was Jimmy Earl......I remember that....wul, we'uns is southrn people....thet wuz a common name....we all called him Uncle JE.)
I never saw Arthur Godfrey on TV. I only heard him on the old radio set.
Looks like you and I may be about the only ones on this thread who really appreciate British humor... er, humour.
Personally, I thought it was hilarious! ;-)
I don't think there is any program to allocate money to the remodeling of my house. So I am spending in the remodeling and in other programs I am not aware of because I don't use them.
