My guess is this will be another attempt by the dems to try and block another one of Pres. Bush's nominees.
ADMINS
Could you move this into BREAKING when it get closer to 9:30?
Can't wait to hear Biden pontificate.
I'm sure that he will not disappoint.
Yahoo is already reporting that Bolton was grilled by the Dems on the panel, at 7.30 am EDT. I didn't know prophecy was a skill set for AP reporters, but I guess you learn something every day.
/sarcasm
This should be interesting, as Kofi Annan's office likes him!
FWIW, I think the Dems are serving two masters, here. And the other one doesn't want to have to account for all the billions, and not just Iraqi, that have been looted.
Two future classes: Imperial Senators and the slaves to the UN and OneWorld.
Seems to me that Bolton shouldn't be the only one in the hot seat....
Darn, I wanted to be here non-stop. Duty calls, however.
Undersecretary of State John R. Bolton faced tough questioning Monday....
I just love stories that tell the future!
I saw that! For documentation purposes, here's the relevant snip:
Democrats Grill U.N. Nominee John Bolton
1 hour, 6 minutes ago White House - AP
By BARRY SCHWEID, AP Diplomatic Writer
WASHINGTON - Undersecretary of State John R. Bolton faced tough questioning Monday from Senate Democrats on his nomination to be the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations. Republicans were looking for swift approval from the Foreign Relations Committee.
See the link at post #14.
I've been waiting for this LIVE thread and for the Bolton hearing/grilling. I hope he gives as good as he gets.......it would help if Luger were a better Committee Chair. Guess we can see more of the dem meaness this morning. Biden et al never disappoint in that dept.
Umm, it was what I was referring to when I posted, actually. And I've posted at Yahoo on that thread as well.
But thanks for noticing that I had noticed.
Cheers!
It'd be nice if the Law of the Sea Treaty get mentioned in a question today.
