Solar carries a whole ambiance of it's own with it. Do you ever read HomePower Magazine. You can download the whole magazine in pdf every other month if you want. It's definitely for the enviromentalist that fits in the long hair tiedyded mold. I don't have a problem with those people as most Freepers do.

Wind power is much bigger business though.

Keep excited, that way the hot air from your solar talk can power your neighbor's windmill. Solar will never be more than a minor source due to the low energy density of solar radiation at the Earth's surface. Nanotech is not going to help this one bit.
