"I'm more excited about solar than wind. Advancements in nanotechnology should continue to help solar development."

Keep excited, that way the hot air from your solar talk can power your neighbor's windmill. Solar will never be more than a minor source due to the low energy density of solar radiation at the Earth's surface. Nanotech is not going to help this one bit.

I don't know I thought this story was cool. I never said solar will be the end all solution, but it will have an expanded niche in the future.

And geothermal energy sites aren't very plentiful, nor are areas for the windmill turbines. We have to choose between coal, natural gas, or nuclear plants for the future. (I vote nuclear - one plant can produce an incredible amount of power compared to the others.)
