"Actually they've lost nearly 40% of their readership since the Arnie fiasco. People called in droves cancelling subscriptions."
Good news....Could you please post more info on this, I would really appreciate it...
I'm sure if Michael Kinsey's illness progresses to a state where someone decides to stop feeding him he will just nod and accept it. Sure, Mikey, you self-righteous dope. Go back to shouting that fetuses are less human than potatoes.
There's no comment about the circus atmosphere surrounding the DeathCult lawyer Felos?
Yeah, I guess they should have just accepted the murder of their daughter without complaint.
This article ignores the reality that if her "husband" would have given up trying to kill her, there would have been no need for the resulting "circus." Talk about blaming the victims....
I agree with you. It was tawdry TV at its best - not because of the Schindlers, but the MSM and others who, IMO, were the force behind the Schindlers. The Schindlers were the desperate family trying to save their child at whatever costs, and so they were vulnerable to the feeding frenzy.
The Best Place for the LA Times
A three ring circus eh?
Ring one - Terri's Hubby's Whore
Ring two - Terri's Hubby's bastard child 1.
Ring three - Terri's Hubby's bastard child 2.
Yep it's a circus alright.
The press never will never get it. The story kept the nation riveted for two weeks, proving that life is more interesting than phony made for TV versions of Law and Order. They would kill to produce a three ring circus that kept us glued to the TV for two weeks, but they don't know how.
The LATimes,as did the New York Times today, conveniently forgot to mention the prominent Dems and other liberals who wanted to keep Terri alive:
Joe Lieberman. Tom Harkin. Harry Ried. Ralph Nader. Alan Dershowitz. David Boies. Village Voice columnist Nat Hentoff.
Can anyone think of anyone else along these lines ?
I was so mad I wrote a letter to the LATimes.
Don't forget to ask them why it's OK for the "esteemed" Jesse Jackson to counsel Bubba Clintoon in his time of need, but not the Schindlers ?
Not to mention publicity - some people like the limelight even tho most of us would consider it negative.
The authors of this piece are writing like idiots and I must attribute it to their never having been in a similar situation. Perhaps they've never felt the strength of love for a child that the Schindlers did, or the fury created by injustice of this magnitude. Whatever the cause, they make themselves ridiculous and crude by this opinion piece.
Reason: Desperation. I can understand that. Mikey was determined to murder their daughter and the only witness to his crime. I would have done the same thing to save my child from murder. Personally, I liked the response from a caller on this a.m.'s Bill Bennett radio show. The called was asked by his 18 year old daughter what he (the caller) would have done. He replied, "I'd shoot the man. The guardianship would have been given to the parents. Then I'd lay down my gun and surrender to the police and probably spend the rest of my life behind bars."
Good idea. Why don't you write and point that out about Jesse and Clinton to the LATimes too ? They need to hear more from people like us.

Who is surprised when a stench rises from a sty such as the L.A. Times?
